Disney Is Making Its First Marvel Animated Feature! Get First Look At Big Hero 6 HERE!

Filed under: Film FlickersDisneyComic BooksStuff 4 Kidz

When Disney first acquired Marvel, we wondered if we'd see a bunch of CG animated versions of the publisher's more kid-friendly titles.

And now we have our answer! Big Hero 6!

Big Hero 6 is sort of like Japan's Avengers, a team of new superheroes that must come together to defeat a major villain.

Ch-ch-check out the video (above) to see the first footage of the future blockbuster that won't be out until November of 2014!

OK, we know nothing really happens in this very preliminary footage, but it does give you a sense of the look and feel of the movie. It feels to us a lot like Pixar- and we all know how successful those movies have been!

Ch-ch-check out the pic (below) if you can't wait to see the new superheroes- especially now that we know there won't be another Iron Man!

Rihanna Found Love In… Jim Parsons' Star Trek Pajama Pants?

You know what they say: Once you go nerd, you never go… OK, they don't say anything like that!

But Breezy had better watch his back anyway!

Rihanna took an awfully snuggly picture Sunday with star of The Big Bang Theory Jim Parsons!

Is RiRi dropping her dashing and dangerous dancer for a man who would can speak dirty to her in Klingon?

Uh, probably not.

Regardless of what's going on with Chris Brown and his Rude Boy singing ex, we're pretty sure Ri and Jim are keeping it purely professional!

The two are working together on the animated feature Happy Smekday, which explains why they're posing together for Twitter pics!

Still, maybe Chris should brush up on his science skills just in case!

WHERE'S JOHNNY DEPP!!! LOL!

Johnny's funny family flick Rango just walked away with the Oscar for Best Animated Feature.

You know, it wouldn't have hurt him just to show up! His movie was nominated … and maybe if he had gone, they would've let him accept the award on the directors behalf!

Wishful thinking? Alright, fair enough! Congrats!!!

What's Up Doc? Bugs Bunny Back On The Big Screen!

bugs-bunny.jpg

Some characters are legendary and when studios find themselves in a bit of a slump, they usually reach into their vault, pull out one of these timeless characters and use it to their advantage.

Case in point - Warner Bros. is in talks to make a new feature length Bugs Bunny movie.

The studio has taken a step in the right direction by hiring Elf screenwriter David Berenbaum to write the planned live action/CG feature film.

We think this could be a good choice for Warner Bros., if they really work with what they've got. Got to get big stars, got to have a stellar soundtrack and got to get Bugs back to his roots.

We want to see you make another Space Jam, not that other stoopid flick that starred Jenna Elfman and ended Brendan Fraser's career. That was unbearable.

Thoughts?
