Oscar Pistorius Might Not Get An Early Release From Prison Because Monitoring Tags Can NOT Be Placed On His Prosthetic Legs
Just last month, Oscar Pistorius was sentenced to 5 years in prison for shooting and killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. However, the former sprinter was hoping to appeal for parole after serving 10 months behind bars.
Unfortunately for Oscar, sources are saying that wont be possible because officers would NOT be able to attach monitoring ankle bracelets to his removable prosthetic legs.
Prison officials have reportedly told the double amputee that he would not qualify for the monitoring system due to his disability, and under South African law electronic bracelets may not be placed on the wrist because they are too easy to remove.
