If these latest allegations are true, they're so totally disappointing!
NBC's Matt Lauer is apparently a big ole' "D" to his underlings at Today!
Three big D's, actually — he stands accused of being derogatory, demeaning, and dismissive to the hard-working members of his staff!
Good Morning America PUMMELED The Today Show during May sweeps, so we imagine the ratings decline is at least part of why Matt became such a meanie!
One source close to the situation reveals

Ann Curry and Angelina Jolie have built quite the rapport throughout their years in the industry. But that doesn’t mean Ann will be the first to interview the actress since the reveal of her double mastectomy…
A source has revealed that the former TODAY Show co-host has been asked by NBC to “convince [Angelina] to give her first television interview about the procedure.” Apparently, NBC wants to schedule a two-hour, primetime special for the interview in addition to a spot on TODAY.
The source added:
“Ann would be prominently featured in all of the promotions and publicity if Angelina agreed to do it… Angelina made it known after Ann was demoted from TODAY that the only journalist to interview her from the Peacock network would be Curry.”
Despite the fact that Angelina’s interview would garner HUGE ratings for the network that gets it, it seems Ann doesn’t feel right taking advantage of her friendship with the star.

After hearing official word on her imminent departure, we're not at all ashamed to admit we spent much of Monday wiping away dried, salty tears from our face!!
Barbara Walters is retiring from The View in 2014 and the world sure will miss her charm, experience, and thoughtful insight!
We're elated she's beginning a new phase of her life, though, and THRILLED she has the clout to dictate her own terms!
Unlike the times NBC unceremoniously pushed out Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien, Ann Curry, and now Jay Leno again, ABC let their golden gal call all the shots!

Like Charlie Brown trying to kick a football, NBC just whiffed again!
In the past year, the flailing network needlessly torpedoed Ann Curry's career, completely bumbled the coverage of the Olympics, and even announced the premature death of
astronaut rock legend Neil Young!
Replacing Jay Leno on The Tonight Show with the younger Jimmy Fallon is just about the only thing they did right!!
…Or did they?!

It hasn't exactly been an easy year to be Matt Lauer!
There haven't really been many positive headlines about the Today show anchor over the past few months, but in an interview with Jay Leno on The Tonight Show he says he doesn't let all of the bad publicity get to him!

Ann Curry is NOT happy with the ongoing drama with the Today show, and we can’t say we blame her!
Yesterday, Brian Stelter revealed a couple of nasty tidbits from his upcoming book Top of the Morning: Inside the Cutthroat World of Morning TV and says the former anchor was bullied and mistreated in her finals days at the office!
Well a source is saying Ann feels "vindicated," but is fed up with the drama:

Ann Curry didn’t have an easy few months leading up to her TODAY Show departure.
Reporter Brian Stelter revealed in an excerpt from his upcoming book Top of the Morning: Inside the Cutthroat World of Morning TV that Matt Lauer’s co-anchor was the butt of quite a few staffroom jokes, much to Ann’s chagrin.
A staffer revealed to Stelter:
