The Jinx Villain Robert Durst May Pay For More Crimes — He's Being Sued For $100 Million By His Missing Wife's Family!
This sure would make for an interesting second season…
The story of an HBO mini-series turned real-life murder scandal captured most of America in 2015, and it looks like Robert Durst's legal problems just got even worse.
After the real estate heir was arrested for first-degree murder the day before the finale of The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst, the 72-year-old is now facing yet another lawsuit.
Kathleen McCormack was Robert's wife from 1973 until she went missing in 1982, and although her death was never confirmed, her family is now suing her ex for $100 million!
Kathie's 101-year-old mother Ann McCormack and three sisters have filed a suit against Robert on the grounds that he denied them the right to a proper funeral after committing the alleged murder, and if they win, they'll be taking almost his entire fortune.
Robert has been in jail since March and will most likely be sentenced to five years more years on a gun charge he received after his mini-series aired in February.
Of course, he could face even more time behind bars thanks to his televised murder admission.
Do U see Robert Durst ever being a free man again??
