We all know about Anne Hathaway's nutso diet to get her look just right in Les Mis, but did you know that Hugh Jackman did the same thing?

Well, he didn't do it EXACTLY like she did, but he did indeed starve himself of food and water like his beautiful cast-mate! He even had to apologize to the crew for being so grumpy because he was so hungry!!

We previously mentioned that Anne Hathaway was on a crazy dangerous crash diet, trying to lose weight for her role in Les Miserables.

Sources everywhere were reporting that she was on the craziest crash diet and it was super dangerous.

Then her publicist came out and said that it was all an exaggeration and she was def eating over 500 calories a day.

Now that it's over, Anne has opened up about her diet… and how insane it really was!

Anne Hathaway took losing weight for her role in the upcoming movie/musical Les Miserbles to obsessive levels — all over 25 pounds!

She IS playing a dying, TB-afflicted prostitute named Fantine — so she had to look the part. A part which might even get her an Oscar. All it took was losing those 25 pounds.

Apparently she dropped 10 pounds before shooting began. The other 15? Not so easy. During a two-week break from shooting, she lost another 15 pounds by eating just two thin squares of dried oatmeal paste per day. Holy crap!

That is NOT healthy in the least, but that is a huge amount of commitment!

As we previously mentioned, Anne Hathaway was on a pretty extreme diet for her role of playing a dying prostitute in Les Miserables.

She took on an intense deprivation diet to look the part.

What happened?

Anne Hathaway was spotted walking through Brooklyn with her fiance Adam Shulman in a pretty hat, pulled low and her arm in a sling!

We knew she was hurt, as we previously mentioned, but we didn't know how badly.

She's got her cast all dressed up in a pretty sling, so at least she's being festive with her injury, which means it can't be too awful, right?

She's not saying how she hurt it, so we hope it's nothing serious and that she's not in pain.

Also, we apologize for the corny Ca(s)t-woman joke. (Because she's playing Cat-woman in The Dark Knight Rises! Get it??)
