Sounds like there’s even MORE dramz going on behind the scenes of the Today show than we were even aware of!

While this week is allegedly Ann Curry’s last on the morning show, her most recent rumored replacement is show regular Natalie Morales!

The one person justifiably unhappy about Morales’ possible promotion is Matt Lauer’s wife, Annette Roque.

As you may or may not remember, Natalie was the woman at the center of Lauer’s affair accusations, where Matt was even rumored to be the baby daddy to one of her kids!

While the Today Show reporter has publicly denied any infediliety or marriage problems, The National Enquirer is standing fiercely behind their story, and claim that his wife Annette's mother, Johanna Struijk, has informed them that her daughter's marriage is essentially over!

They've also apparently staked out his family's apartment, and say that although Lauer says he hasn't moved out of his home, he has not once been spotted leaving for work in the morning - which means he's not sleeping there!

According to their sources, NBC execs are pressuring Matt to pretend his marriage is fine to keep his image as a family man going!

Eek!

The DOUCHE is out of the bag, bb, might want to fess up before everyone thinks that you're an adulterer AND a liar!!

Although rumors are swirling that Matt Lauer and his wife have called it quits, the couple have deemed this story "a work of fiction."

"I am living in my apartment with Annette and my children as a family and a couple," said the Today show anchor. "I have never moved out. I am not moving out. There is no truth to that."

And his wife Annette feels the same way!

"Out of self respect, I want to stand up for our family and protect them," she said.

They continued to defend that despite their issues, infidelity has never been a problem.

Lauer divulged:

"Have we had a completely perfect, easy marriage? No. But the stories you've read over the years are not true. I don't think we're any different than any married couple that's been together for 12 years. The accusations [of infidelity] are ridiculous and I'm not going to [dignify] them with an answer. It's not true."

Riiiiight.

Shady shady!

After breaking the news yesterday that Matt Lauer had walked out on his wife of 12 years, Annette Roque, The National Enquirer is shedding some more light on what's been going on between the two behind closed doors!

Apparently, Lauer got a little too frisky with some sluts while covering the Olympics in Vancouver for The Today Show, and Annette caught wind of it and accused him of cheating on her with at least two women!

After "an explosive two-day fight," Lauer walked out, and Annette is no longer wearing her wedding ring!

Not cool at all. Who knew that he was such a raging douchebag?!
