Chezza Sends Paula Flowers On The X Factor Set!

cheryl-cole-sends-paula-abdul-bouquet-of-flowers

Glad to see that there are no hard feelings!

Although Cheryl Cole has apparently cut all ties with Simon Cowell after her firing from the judges panel of the US version of The X Factor, she reached out to her former co-judge, Paula Abdul, by sending her flowers!

Check out the photo (above) that Paula posted via Twitter, along with the message:

At the Wed @TheXFactorUSA I got the sweetest gift from #CherylCole -she sent me this beautiful bouquet of flowers.

So thoughtful!

Apparently, she also sent a fruit basket to L.A. Reid!

Not too surprised to hear that Simon went gift-less, though! Eek!

Such a shame they couldn't have worked it out! We're going to miss her on the panel!

Sigh. What can you do?!

Nicole Debuts As X Factor Judge! Remains Tight-Lipped On Cheryl's Exit!

nicole-scherzinger-remains-quiet-on-cheryl-cole-firing-from-x-factor

Oh yeah. They're in damage control mode BIG TIME!

After the clusterfuck that's been Cheryl Cole's presence on the the US version of X Factor finally concluded itself with her being fired and replaced by Nicole Scherzinger on the judges panel, the former Pussycat Dolls singer made her debut on the series this past week, alongside Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell, and L.A. Reid in Newark for the latest round of auditions - and all four of them were extremely MUM on what had gone down behind-the-scenes!

All Scherzinger would say about the matter was that she "tries not to read" what the press writes and that Chezza was "a lovely, beautiful girl."

We're sure that what this means is that the aforementioned comments were pretty much everything she's allowed to say about the mess!

And we don't blame her for zipping her lips! Gurl doesn't want to get her ass fired, too!

That being said, we certainly hope that's she acclimating well to her new role, and that this show will have no further headaches!

It's (Almost) Official! Simon Cowell Reveals Final Two Judges On The X Factor!

simon-cowell-reveals-judges-panel-for-the-x-factor

Wow! It's ACTUALLY happening!

And personally, we couldn't be more PSYCHED! It's like the best of both worlds combining for the PERFECT reality show!

There has been a massive amount of speculation regarding who will fill the remaining two spots left on the judges panel of the American reboot of Simon Cowell's smash UK series, The X Factor, and although the deals are STILL not finalized, the producer has finally revealed that he's settled on the already-announced Antonio "L.A." Reid, as well as (wait for it)…Cheryl Cole AND Paula Abdul!

That's right! PAULA EFFING ABDUL! We're freaking out!

SHE'S BACK!

According to Cowell, although the long-awaited announcement was a showcase of "complete and utter indecisiveness," he claims that Reid "was my No. 1 choice to sit alongside me on the show," and continues:

"First of all, it's like casting a dinner party. You’ve got to have people on the panel you get on well with. I never think about it as an American or British audience. I genuinely don’t. I think that’s what's happened on a lot of these shows now is it's almost like you’ve got to hire well known celebrities to be a judge. And with Cheryl, when I hired her initially, I'd only met her literally once when I offered her the job on [British] X Factor. I thought she was bright, cute, knew what she was talking about, ambitious. And you meet someone special a few times in your life.. And this girl is special. She's just got a great ability to communicate. Shes a great judge. She's smart. It's just a hunch. If people take to her like the British public did, I think she's going to do really well in America. And Fox was desperate to hire her. Mike Darnell and Peter Rice will tell you they wanted her all the time, I showed a tape to Mike Darnell two years ago of a clip I'd shot in England of Cheryl and he said there and then, 'I'd hire her now for Idol.' They absolutely fell in love with her. In a way, the deal, it was almost conditional on Cheryl having the gig. They were desperate for her. I've always wanted Paula. Always been very vocal about that. I missed her the second she left the show. Always loved working with her even though she can be a pain. And I've been consistent about this. I don’t know what it is about her, but I've always clicked with her. You just have to get that chemistry, and she's right. I've never found anyone better than her. I think there's a good chance it will be her. We've agreed that we would meet as many people as possible, and now we're reaching the deadline we've got to make the decision soon. But I think she's got a really good shot."

Granted, Abdul's deal has even started yet and Chezza's STILL isn't quite done, but we've heard it from his mouth, so we're going with it…and frankly, think that he might be on to something!

British audiences took very kindly to Cheryl when she joined X Factor in its fifth season, and we all know that a lot of American Idol's initial success came from Paula's shenanigans, so to combine the two along with Reid is a pretty smart move!

We just hope that this is the end of all the speculation! We're tired of having to guess who's going to take the spots!

Well done, Simon!

And if you're interested, check out which rumored artists Cowell actually considered for Paula and Cheryl's spots…AFTER THE JUMP!

What do U think?? Are U excited for The X Factor's judging panel?

Whoops! Did L.A. Reid Just Let It Slip Who One Of The New X Factor Judges Is Going To Be???

Filed under: Simon CowellCheryl ColeX Factor

cheryl-cole-x-factor-judge-possibility.jpg

Don't toy with us, Reid! We're not going to be pleased if this turns out to be false.

According to reports, L.A. Reid, who is the only person officially signed on to judge the American version of The X Factor, has confessed that U.K. judge, Cheryl Cole, will definitely be a part of the new panel. Supposedly, Chezza is in the middle of tying up some loose ends and then the announcement will be made.

Reid let the news slip as he was talking about their main competition, American Idol, and how he thought their show will compare. He said:

“We’re gonna compete against American Idol just fine. I’m very confident. But along with Simon Cowell and Cheryl, I don’t know who the other judge is.”

Well, you knew more than us…supposedly.

Until we hear the official word from Simon, we're remaining skeptical. Also until then, we'll continue to petition for our top choice to be selected for the panel:

They Have Begun! X Factor Auditions Start Up In El Lay!

Filed under: TV NewsMusic MinuteSimon CowellX FactorReality TV

x factor auditions have begun

The new talent cometh!

On Sunday morning, US X Factor auditions officially began at the L.A. Sports Arena.

Simon Cowell, Antonio "L.A." Reid, and other potential judge contenders weren't in attendance at the audition event, but approximately 15,000 potential X-Factor stars DID stop by to show off their skillz!

Here's what executive producer Rob Wade, who WAS in attendance, had to say about the auditions:

"It's intangible. It's something you feel in your heart. When you see somebody sing, that's what it is, and you and I would have the same opinion about that. You'll see it on stage and be like, 'Wow, that person's got the X factor.'"

Auditions will continue in Miami, New Jersey, Seattle, Chicago, and Dallas.

Good luck, potential X-Factorials!
