According to a new fossil study, an ancient sea creature that resembled a tulip had it's BUTT right next to its mouth!! EEK!

When the research was first conducted, it was believed that the animal was part of the species entoprocta, but after Zhifei Zhang of the Northwest University in Xi'an led a group of researchers in Yunnan, China… they found that the animal was part of the Cotyledion tylodes.

Zhang's group inspected 418 species and found that the C. tylodes only existed in one spot, which meant that they dribbled water through their tentacles that were near its mouth and ANUS.
