Mumford & Sons Babel number 1 top 200 sophomore album breaks records

Not bad for an indie band, right??

Mumford & Sons just released Babel, their sophomore album — and it has grabbed the biggest debut of any album this year in the U.S.

How big? Try 600,000 units sold in its first week, becoming the rock quartet's first No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart!

Oh and it's the first No. 1 for its record label, Glassnote Records.

But wait, there's more:

It also had the biggest sales week for a rock album since

Chanel Loses Counterfeit Lawsuit! Ordered To Pay $258,000!

chanel-ordered-to-pay-former-supplier-long-lawsuit.jpg

Remember when 61 year old seamstress and owner of World Tricot, Carmen Colle, sued Chanel for copying a crochet pattern?

Since this happened back in 2009, the answer is probably no, but we do!

Almost 3 years later, the Paris Court of Appeal ordered Chanel to fork over $258,400 to its former suppliers on Friday.

The fashion house hasn’t decided if it will appeal, but since Friday's ruling overturned a previous lawsuit, we wouldn't be surprised if they did.

Stay tuned…

Tameka Foster Files Appeal In Custody Ruling

It ain't over until the fat lady sings.

Or at least until the judge does.

Usher's ex wife Tameka Foster has officially appealed the recent custody ruling involving the former couple's two children.

According to the papers she filed, her lawyers argue that she absolutely presented enough evidence to prove that Usher has a past, current, and future inability" to raise their children, and no sufficient evidence was presented in the last case as to why she would be unable to take care of them.

There's that and there's also the fact that Tameka has a sneaking suspicion that the judge was a little too friendly with her ex husband.

We hope this drama isn't dragged out too long - these two have been through enough these past few months, and this surely isn't a healthy way to help them through the healing process.

We'll see what happens.

Gossip Girl's Kelly Rutherford Responds To Judge

Kelly Rutherford Responds

We told you earlier this week that Kelly Rutherford's custody trial was not going well.

The court decided that Kelly's two children with French citizen Daniel Giersch would remain in his custody in France.

Even knowing what a hardship it would be for the Gossip Girl star to hop across the pond on a regular basis, the judge still thought it best the children stay put. The judge said:

"Even while under the scrutiny of an extended trial, Kelly still has declined to demonstrate the level of commitment to facilitating the relationship that would be required of a residential parent in a relocation situation."

Kelly denies the judge's harsh assessment, but mostly is just upset at the thought of being kept so far from her kids. Her rep tells us:

"Kelly is gratified by the outpouring of support she's received and is devastated that her American citizen children were ordered to live overseas to accommodate their father because he's banned from entering the U.S."

Kelly will appeal the ruling this afternoon. We hope they can come to a sensible solution!
