Conrad Murray Loses His Appeal! Court Says He's Totally Responsible For Michael Jackson's Death!

conrad murray appeal

Well this wasn't a total shocker…

A California court revealed today that Michael Jackson did not inject himself with the fatal does of Propofol that lead to his untimely death!

MJ's doctor, Conrad Murray, had appealed his manslaughter conviction with a slew of arguments - including how the King Of Pop wanted to off himself!

The appeal court has officially ruled that the doctor's theories are not true, with plenty of evidence to back up his conviction!

The judges allegedly revealed that Conrad's fingerprints were all over the infamous Propofol bottle, and he acted guilty when the cops arrived on the scene.

Even though the doctor served his sentence, this appeal was a huge leap into getting his license to practice medicine back!

Better luck never…

Michael Douglas' Son Cameron Douglas Slapped With Five More Years In The Slammer!

cameron douglas prison sentence appeal denied

Whoever said life is easy for celebrities' kids obviously doesn't know Cameron Douglas.

Judge Richard Berman must not be a fan of Michael Douglas' work because the judge IGNORED his son's pleas to get out of jail early in federal appeals court in New York on Monday.

Cameron was first sentenced to five years behind bars in 2010 for narcotics distribution, but was then hit with an additional five years by the same judge after additional drug infractions behind bars.

That means Michael won't be seeing his son as a free man until 2018!

While the court admits it is an "unusually long sentence" for such a violation, they think the decision is justified.

We're not so sure we agree though and neither does director of Legal Affairs for the Drug Policy Alliance, Daniel Abrahamson!

The narcotics expert explained:

Defense of Marriage Act Ruled Unconstitutional AGAIN! Down With DOMA!

Filed under: Gay Gay GayLegal MattersLGBT

Can't say we're surprised. You know why?

Because the Defense of Marriage Act IS unconstitutional!

A U.S. appeals court in New York has agreed with the ruling from a court in Boston that DOMA is straight up discrimination.

Two out of three judges used common sense to determine that defining marriage as a union between a man and a woman unconstitutionally denies federal benefits to lawfully married same-sex couples.

It doesn't take a genius to figure that out, but it took a lot of collective ignorance to get the bill passed in 1996.

Knowledge is power and more people than ever before KNOW it is wrong to deny rights to others based on sexuality, so DOMA's days are definitely numbered.

Marriage doesn't need to be defended, folks. The LGBT community just needs to be included.

Shocker! Phil Spector Murder Conviction Appeal Denied…AGAIN

Filed under: Icky Icky PooLegal Matters

phil spector murder conviction appeal denied again

Nice try, Phil!

Last month, Phil Spector, who's serving 19 years to life in jail for the 2003 murder of actress Lana Clarkson, once again attempted to overturn his conviction on grounds that the trial judge swayed the jury by pointing out blood spots in a photo demonstration of the producer's home.

We were unimpressed by this move, especially because he was trying to get off on a technicality…not because of actual innocence!

On Monday, a California appeals court rejected Phil's appeal and issued a "81-page decision" on its reasoning for rejection!

Good luck countering the court's 81-page reason why you're still guilty, Phil!

We're sure you'll give it another shot, sooner or later.

Do U still think there's ANY chance that Phil Spector is innocent?

A Prop 8 Decision In The Not-So-Distant Future?

Filed under: Gay Gay GayLegal MattersPolitikLGBT

We're happy to report that there COULD be some new movement on Proposition 8 as soon as next week!

New California Supreme Court Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye spoke about the subject on Wednesday, and said that California's Supreme Court might decide "whether to weigh in on the federal Proposition 8 appeal" within the week.

Given the fact that the new Chief Justice performed a same-sex wedding back in 2008 while she was an appeals court judge, we're thinking things COULD be looking up for support of a Prop 8 repeal in California.

Guess we'll find out soon whether or not the possibility of a Proposition 8 repeal might be in the cards in the near future.

We hope so!!!
