Cute rare turtle born at Tennessee Aquarium is super adorbz!

This is wonderful news! A rare Keeled Box Turtle was recently born for the second time in Tennessee Aquarium history!

The Keeled Box Turtle has been over-collected in the wild, for food and pet trade and so their numbers aren't great.

There are less than 20 Keeled Box Turtles spread across the U.S.'s zoos, so this little baby is extra special!

Ahhh! He's so stanky cute too!

Super Rare Halloween Lobster On Display At New England Aquarium!

Super rare half black half orange lobster is New England Aquarium's Halloween mascot!!

Whoa! What the heck kind of lobster is that??

Did someone paint half of a lobster black??

Nope! That's au natural!

Last year, a lobsterman Dana Duhime, caught the 1-pound rare female lobster and immediately knew he had something special.

The lobster, named Pinchy, was given to the New England Aquarium and was stuck in a mandatory 30-day quarantine last Halloween, so she was unable to participate in any festivities. Even though she's perfectly colored for the season!

But not this year!!

This year, the aquarium is all about Pinchy, allowing any child wearing a costume to get into the aquarium for free "to celebrate looking different," said an aquarium spokesman.

Pinchy sure is different! She's so rare, only about one in 100 MILLION lobsters will be dual-colored, perfectly split down the middle!

That's AH-mazing!

Wanna go see Pinchy in person?? She'll be on display at the New England Aquarium until November 3rd!

Rescued Sea Turtle Moves To Vegas!!

OD is a 320-pound, 50-year-old sea turtle.

He was rescued from the Florida Keys in 2008 after he got sick.

Now, he's finally moved to his forever home!

After literally being FedEx'd to Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, he's now finally settling into the hotel's 1.3-million-gallon Shipwreck Exhibit.

That sounds like a HUGE tank! He's joining two other green sea turtles, sharks, rays, fish and more! 22 other species in all!!

That's ahmazying!

The aquarium's director said:

"Shark Reef Aquarium guests can visit OD while learning about the turtle's wild habitat and the impacts humans have on endangered green sea turtles. We are honored to offer OD a permanent home and are committed to creating an enriching environment for his continued health."

So not only will OD be all sorts of healthy, he'll help people learn about conservation.

That's double great!! Way to go, Mandalay Bay!

Check out the video (above) to see OD getting ready to ship out!

Oldest Fish In Captivity Turns 80! Happy Birthday!!

Granddad the lungfish turns 80!!

At Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, Granddad the lungfish just celebrated a real milestone birthday!

He turned 80! That's right, he's an 80-year-old fish!

Granddad is 20-pounds and four-feet-long!

He arrived at Shedd during the 1933 World's Fair and what's crazy is he was already fully grown when he arrived at the aquarium!

So he's actually older than 80! They're just celebrating his anniversary!

That's so crazy, we had no idea a fish could grow so old!

Cheers to you, Granddad (who's name is awkwardly perfect), may you live another 20 years!

Rare 6-Clawed Lobster Donated To Maine State Aquarium

Lola is one special lobster!

She has six claws!! And as if that weren't crazy enough… five of them are on one hand!

Lola was caught off the coast of Hyannis, Massachusets and was donated to the Maine State Aquarium.

The four-pound lobster is about ten years old. She was caught by Richard Figueiredo and Captain Peter Brown on the lobster boat The Rachel Leah.

The boat is actually part of the Discovery series Lobster Wars! We wonder if this will make the show??

So cool Lola gets to live her days out at an aquarium instead of ending up in a pot of boiling water!

Check out the video (above) to get a glimpse of this rare lobster!

Sea Otter Eats A Birthday Cake!! Without The Candles Of Course!

What a lucky little cutie otter!!

Elfin, the seas otter, lives at the Vancouver Aquarium in Stanley Park, Vancouver, Canada.

Stanley Park is celebrating its 125th anniversary so in honor of the event, Elfin is the lucky otter who gets to celebrate things right… giant cake style!!

The aquarium made a big cake for Elfin, and don't worry, it's otter friendly.

The cake is made of shrimp, crab, muscles and clam "icing." Yuck! Sounds gross, though we guess that's an otter's fantasy meal.

Elfin was rescued as an orphan in Alaska and nursed back to health with the help of the aquarium's Marine Mammal Rescue Center staff.

So he extra deserves to be the one to eat a big cake!!

Check out the video (above) to see a cutie otter eating a giant cake!
