Argo Wins The Oscar For Best Picture!! We KNEW IT!

The competition was FIERCE, but we kinda always knew that Argo would be taking the biggest award of the night… the Oscar for Best Picture!!

Ch-ch-check out the video (above) to see Jack Nicholson and Michelle Obama team up — never thought we'd say that — to give Ben Affleck, George Clooney, and Grant Heslov their hard-earned trophies!

Seriously, with a list like Amour, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Django Unchained, Les Misérables, Life of Pi, Lincoln, Silver Linings Playbook, Zero Dark Thirty, the choices were neck-and-neck!!

So happy for everyone involved!!

Congrats, guys!!

Argo Thank Yourself! Chris Terrio Wins The Oscar For Best Adapted Screenplay!

Congratulations, Chris Terrio!

The stellar screenwriter won the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay for Argo!

Chris beat out Lucy Alibar and Benh Zeitlin for Beasts Of The Southern Wild, David Magee for Life Of Pi, Tony Kushner for Lincoln, and David O. Russell for Silver Linings Playbook.

We applaud all these writers on their nominations! It's not easy to turn a book into a movie!

They never fit into the DVD case! LOLz!

Sorry, Tommy Lee Jones!! A LOT of people were pulling for you, but you might have to frown a little longer!!

Christoph Waltz now has a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for Django Unchained!!

This is his SECOND Oscar for a supporting role — the first being for his dazzling portrayal of the Jew Hunter in Inglourious Basterds!

The other players are leaving sad tonight, but they shouldn't be — Alan Arkin (Argo), Philip Seymour Hoffman (The Master), Robert De Niro (Silver Linings Playbook), and Tommy (Lincoln) should ALL be proud of the work they put into their films!!

Argo's Victor Garber Shows His Partner Off During Shopping Trip!

victor garber partner the grove

It's been a long time coming, but Victor Garber can finally step out with his longtime love without paranoia!

Victor and his partner of almost 13 years, Rainer Andreesen, were spotted at The Grove in West Hollywood for some retail therapy this week.

This is the first time we've seen the Argo star and his beau out and about since he bravely came out last month and we couldn't be happier for them!!!

We know that he made it seem like it wasn't a big deal, but we're sure it is a relief for both of them to be honest about it.

So inspiring!

But why are you both empty-handed with all those stores surrounding you???! You deserve a little somethin'-somethin'!

Oscars Voting Ends Today! Who's In The Lead??

jennifer lawrence oscar odds

We won't know for sure until the big day, but with Oscars voting ending in mere hours, betting gurus are picking their faves!

So who should you be backing in your office Oscar pool?

Best Picture seems like a lock for Argo, which has already taken just about every award possible!

For Best Actress, it looks like we'll get yet another misunderstood movie quote from the lovely Jennifer Lawrence!

You may want to bet a penny - or better yet a fiver - on Daniel Day-Lewis to win Best Actor for Lincoln!

Anne Hathaway's breathtaking - and hair-cropping - performance in Les Misérables is just about guaranteed gold at this point!

It looks like Ben Affleck's snub is Steven Spielberg's gain — he's the favorite for Best Director.

And once again, Quentin Tarantino is the frontrunner for Best Original Screenplay for his sleeper hit Django Unchained!

But, of course, as any oddsmaker will tell you, anything can happen on any given Sunday!

Except Any Given Sunday can't win anything. It's not nominated and is like, ten years old.
