Decades later, and the world is still infatuated with Marilyn Monroe. Understandably!
The silver screen siren met her untimely death way too young in life, and her fans love to have something to remember her by.
So, when Julien's Auctions in Beverly Hills had their Icons & Idols event, they must have known they'd make a ton of ca$$$h.
And they did!

Items of Miz Monroe's were auctioned off on Friday and Saturday, like a pendant necklace, which sold for $34,375, a lacy bra went for $20,000, and a makeup compact nearly doubled that at $46,875!
But some of the most sought after items were love notes that she didn't even write!
One from Joe DiMaggio, after she decided to divorce him, sold for

We had never seen Arthur Miller's iconic play Death Of A Salesman before Wednesday night. We hadn't even seen the movie! So we were filled with curiosity when we went to catch the new Broadway revival, starring Philip Seymour Hoffman and Andrew Garfield.
We were expecting great performances, and - thankfully - we were not disappointed! But would we like the show? Would it still be relevant after all these years?
The answers are yes and YES!
We loved Salesman, the play, and loved this Mike Nichols-directed version.
The complexity of families and the dynamic between parents and their children and between siblings - that never gets old! It is material so rich for mining!
The play packs such a emotional punch! There is one scene and moment in the second act, where Garfield's character lashes out at his dad and then crumples in his arms in a ball of tears that is just so powerful! Hoffman and Garfield made it all seem so real! We were bawling ourselves!
The rest of the ensemble was equally good. And we are very happy that we got to experience this production and venture out of our usual comfort zone of just seeing musicals!

This is a first.
H&M designed a custom dress for Michelle Williams to wear to the BAFTAs on Sunday and that's what they came up with.
It's a nice attempt, but there isn't really anything particularly special about. We also feel like we've seen this dress many times before, just not by H&M.
As for the rest of her outfit, our favorite piece has to be Michelle's Olympia Le Tan Misfits book clutch. The Misfits was written by Arthur Miller, who was at one time married to Marilyn Monroe.
Marilyn even went on to star in the screen adaptation of Miller's book alongside Clark Gable.
The more you know!
