Well, Facebook really shouldn't have to do this…but we guess the need was too great.
So, have y'all ever heard of a little website called The Onion?
They write some seriously HIGHlarious articles that are completely satirical and in NO WAY true whatsoever.
Which most people know because they have common sense.
Well, it seems that too many people post articles from the The Onion (and presumably other satire websites) thinking that they're actually real, truthful articles.
So Facebook is taking the steps to make sure users do not carry on believing these articles since they're not supposed to be taken seriously.

Watch out, future boyfriends of Taylor Swift!
She might be ready to break a few hearts for her next album…or force someone to be the bad boy and break hers!
Although people do plenty of joking about her ONLY writing songs about young love gone wrong, she knows she's cornered the right market.
And her bank account knows it, too! Bam!
So don't go expecting that to change as Swifty revealed how much she loves her little niche:

How does Matt Damon stay humble? Easy! He reads anonymous Internet comments!
The Bourne Identity star just checks out any article about him and reads three comments! Apparently they get so negative, there's no way he can get a swelled head! Unless that's what they're saying about him…
Ch-ch-check out the video (above) to hear how bad Matt gets it from the anonymous haters of the worldwide web!
Now please, everyone! Just for this one, make the meanest comments you can think of, just for Matt! We love the guy and would hate for his ego to get out of control! LOLz!
Srsly, don't really be mean!

Katie Price has officially launched her own magazine on Wednesday, appropriately titled Katie: My Magazine.
To mark the occasion, she wore a busty one-piece orange leotard with the cover of her first issue gracing her midsection.
We think it may be the first time a celebrity has ever covered a magazine, then covered herself with it.
For now, it looks like it's ALL about her with inneresting articles about the beauty products she "can't live without", she WILL get married again, and a section called "In My Own Words".
Will Katie become the next O?
Check out more pics of Katie at her magazine launch below!

Everybody is looking for an agent these days! Even magazines!
We never really thought about it, but talent agency ICM has been repping the New York Times for years and has since brokered 30 film and TV option deals for their articles.
New York Magazine now wants a piece of the Hollywood action and has signed with the agency as well.
In the deal, the magazine would share revenue and receive credit in any film made from its articles.
Although it just found representation, the magazine isn't a stranger to inspiring major motion pictures from their articles. Saturday Night Fever, Goodfellas, and American Gangster were just a few films that hatched from stories featured in New York Magazine.
Did U know magazines and newspapers were repped by talent agents?
