James Franco Gifted Bryan Cranston With Weed After Filming Why Him? — In The Form Of Art!

no title

James Franco knows a thing or two about weed.

Not only has the actor played a stoner on the big screen, but he's also besties with Seth Rogen IRL — so it's no surprise he finds marijuana to be another source of artistic inspiration.

While his eccentric artwork made for the perfect set design for the upcoming comedy Why Him? — in which the 38-year-old plays an eccentric tech billionaire — it also made for a fantastically awkward present to costar Bryan Cranston.

The gift in question came up when the duo appeared on Wednesday's Conan after the host asked Franco about the art he created for the new film.

Never one to shoot down an opportunity to create some weird sh*t, Franco explained:

David Bowie's memory continues to live on!

On Monday, Apple unveiled its latest set of emojis to hit the iPhone ahead of its iOS 10.2 update.

In addition to the amazing emoji news, the famous art gallery Sotheby's just announced David's secret and immense art collection will hit the auction block on November 10 and 11.

According to the art house, the collection includes Jean-Michel Basquiat's insanely expensive 1984 painting Air Power, as well as a spin painting Bowie himself created with Damien Hirst in 1995.

While there are HUNDREDS of high-priced pieces in the stockpile, the Basquiat takes the cake with a price tag of $3 million dollars while his collaboration with Hirst comes in around $350K.

Damn! We imagine many of Bowie's dedicated fans will be chomping at the bit to bid on those pricey items!

Teacher Sues Facebook Over Vagina Painting! And So Far He's WINNING!

no title

A teacher in France is taking Facebook to court over a painted vajay.

Per the social network's policy, they suspended the man's account after he posted a picture of a bare vagina on his page.

Now the man is demanding about $20k in damages for being censored!

[ Video: Usher Charges His Cell Phone Using A Model's Vagina ]

The thing is, the image is far from what one might call smut. It's an 1866 painting by Gustave Courbet called L'Origine du Monde, or The Origin Of The World.

The NSFW(?) original (see it below)

He's seen a lot of stuff in his day, but this is just something else!

Usher visited Art Basel on Wednesday, and he got more than he bargained for! And by that, we mean one of the models charged his cell phone… with her VAGINA! And it only cost him $20 for 10 minutes!

Model Lena Marquis was involved in an installation where she placed a battery pack in her lady parts, and then let people plug up and charge their cells.

Art!

Luckily for us, someone took some sneaky video (below), but we can't stress enough how NSFW it is!

We're not really sure how this is art, but it's awesome!

Keira Knightley Will Work For Free - On Special Occasions!

wenn2773000jb.jpg

This is actually pretty cool of her!

Keira Knightley apparently has so much street cred as a period piece film favorite that director Stuart Pearson Wright wanted to use her for his short film, Maze, which involves an Elizabethan courtier lost in a maze trying to find her lover. The problem was, however, that girlfriend doesn't get that corset on for cheap and he only had a budget of $23,000!

Then the unexpected happened! Keira agreed to shoot the film for free!

Wow! What a generous gesture!

The actress says:

"I loved the idea of doing something that was purely creative, weird and wonderful and not a commercial venture. Ideas were e-mailed and then developed at Stuart's studio over cupcakes and tea and under the skeleton of his dog and a film piece was decided on: a collision of our worlds."

We're not entirely sure what she's talking about, but good for her! And Wright clearly appreciated her help:

"Part of the reason for me wanting to use an actress like Keira is her association with period dramas. Those associations are important, to lull the audience into a false sense of the familiar. The juxtaposition of a Hollywood actress in period costume with a very contemporary shooting style, being jostled about by a jumpy camera, is an incongruous and uncomfortable one."

Could be inneresting. Or just artsy fartsy.

The film will be played at one of Wright's exhibits at the Riflemaker gallery in London if anyone wants to catch it!

Thoughts??
