The Girls Aloud star and ex UK X Factor judge Cheryl Cole is FINALLY cutting ties!

Cheryl, who’d been using the surname since her divorce from Ashley Cole back in 2010, is getting rid of it…for stage name's sake!

The English soccer player, who was once married to Cheryl Cole, allegedly jumped out of a car with his entourage in tow and took a swing at a soccer fan of an opposing team!

He was caught on camera approaching a 25-year-old man (who prefers to remain anonymous) on a London sidewalk this past August after the man involved admits he yelled out, "Cashley!" as Cole's chauffeured car drove past.

The nickname was given to Cole by fans after he left Arsenal to join rival team Chelsea for more money. The man who was nearly punched by the soccer player described the incident to sources, saying:

For some reason Fergie is speaking out about Cheryl Cole's decision to get back with her cheating husband Ashley Cole and has some words of "support" for her friend.

Fergie Ferg says:

"Ashley really hurt her and I couldn't see her at the time ever taking him back. But she needs to follow her own heart. It's easy for people to say she's crazy taking him back, but life isn't as simple as that. If the love is still there and she truly believes he's changed then she should go for it if that's what she wants.

It doesn't matter what family, friends or her management team say, it's her life and her decision. She really loved him and didn't want to get divorced, she just felt she had no choice."

The next chance will be Ashley's last chance, there's no doubt about that. Cheryl's a lot stronger than she was two years ago. The relationship will be on her terms. It will be her who wears the trousers this time, and he won't be able to put a foot wrong."

Okay, sure we agree with you there, Ferg, but Ashley really hurt Cheryl and she's been through a helluva lot of shiz the past year. The last thing she needs right now is another broken heart.

Yes, Cheryl should follow her heart, but not if it's going to hurt her in the end! We're just not crazy about our gurl being toyed with by some loser.
