Tootsie twins!

In addition to being the regular kind of twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were also footwear twins in NYC on Thursday as they regressed back to their childhood habit of wearing matching outfits.

Dressed all in black, the birthday girls carried similar The Row totes and slipped their tiny feet into the same two-toned sandals.

We just got so nostalgic for all the identical outfits they wore in their direct-to-video movies back in the 90s.

Can U believe they barely turned 27 yesterday???

Time flies when you're building a billion-dollar empire!

Can you picture Ashley Olsen in a bandage mini dress and Louboutin heels?

It would blow our mind!

The fashion mogul wore an Indian-inspired, vintage red kaftan with gold embroidery to the 6th Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in New Jersey on Saturday.

The best thing about this outfit is that she can wear it again when she's 70 and it won't be inappropriate in the least!

Ash styled the muumuu-esque number with Hermes sandals and The Row sunglasses and handbag.

You love it, don't you? LOLz!

Perhaps Ashley just wanted to keep her romance a leeettle bit quiet as it blossomed, but it's no secret anymore.

Ashley was spotted looking like quite the happy lovebird while she was shopping with a mystery man at Maison Martin Margiela in Beverly Hills.

The casual twosome kept their distance in the PDA department, but if she's anything like her sisters, we're sure these two will be hands on in no time!

Someone else missed the theme this year!

But considering Ashley Olsen is pretty much a master in the world of fashion, we're guessing Anna Wintour and the Met Gala will let her slide.

And maybe her own fashion line doesn't make punk clothing which is why she chose to wear a much more Bollywood-inspired dress by The Row!

Looking like a delicate darling, Ashley's dress is one of her better looks — since it's not a baggy sweater that completely makes her disappear!

We really think next year Ashley should make more of an effort to design herself a dress that actually works with the theme.

NO ONE is too good for a theme!

Sorry, Olivier Sarkozy!!!

You might be a dapper and a VERY rich man, but NO ONE can break the bond between twins.

Mary-Kate Olsen's much older beau was left to fend for himself while she chatted it up with sister and business partner Ashley Olsen at LAX yesterday.

Sure, Olivier might satisfy the petite entrepreneur in the bedroom, but he'll never understand her like Ashley does.

However, it would probably be best if she tried to include him more unless she WANTS trouble in paradise.

Guess he just has to accept that when he CAN propose to his GF, he will also be proposing to her sister.

But he might not have to worry about it anyway! Between this and her allegedly sour 'tude toward her man lately, we're not sure she'll EVER put his ring on her finger!

They may not have wanted their faces photographed as they touched down in El Lay Friday, but the Olsen Twins Mary-Kate and Ashley couldn't stay hidden for long!

The pair have been spotted out and about together much more frequently than usual the past few months, and over the weekend was no exception! In fact, the pint-sized sibling fashionista were all over the place!

Ch-ch-check out the pair as they were spotted leaving a Hollywood hotel later that afternoon (above)!

And Saturday night, they even kicked back with other celebs at a surprise Rolling Stones concert — which kicked off the band's 50 & Counting Tour — held at the Echoplex!

What a busy weekend they had!

But we DO love to see them spending so much time together!

Now if they'd ONLY start making the Mary-Kate and Ashley Mysteries again, we'd be heaven! LOLz!

Why cover up your face when it's known for being so lovely?

We can't imagine, but Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were NOT about to let the evil flash of the paps' cameras touch their skin at LAX on Thursday.

The designers kept their faces covered the entire time, but it's okay since we were planning on focusing on their outfits anyway.

Rocking their standard casual-chic fare, the twins looked like your average, albeit mega-rich, airport patrons.

Mary-Kate channeled a Michael Jackson vibe with her fedora, print scarf, distressed jeans, and rag & bone ankle boots.

And don't you just love her The Row pom pom trimmed shoulder bag?

Ashley was the more relaxed of the two in black skinnies, wool coat, and Gravati crocodile loafers, with a giant The Row tote obscuring most of her body.

VERY typical Olsen style!
