rose mcgowan calls out fakes golden globes

Rose McGowan was not impressed with the "Hollywood fakery" at the Golden Globes.

As you likely saw, most of the attendees at the Tinseltown award show donned black ensembles in order to stand with the Time's Up movement, which was founded to combat sexual misconduct in the workplace. It started getting picked up in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal, where McGowan bravely admitted she was raped by the powerhouse producer.

So, it's no wonder the Charmed actress had plenty of criticism for the all-black gesture at the Hollywood event. Rose criticized the statement of solidarity after fellow Weinstein victim Asia Argento praised the 44-year-old for being "the first one who broke the silence." In response, Rose wrote:

ronan farrow says harvey weinstein hired intelligence agencies

Ronan Farrow has more dirt to spill on Harvey Weinstein.

In a new exposé for The New Yorker, which was released on Monday evening, the 29-year-old journalist accused the disgraced producer of going through great lengths to cover up the many sexual misconduct allegations that circled Tinseltown. Allegedly, Weinstein hired private security agencies, which included ex-Mossad operatives, to dig up information on accusers AND journalists in an attempt to keep them from speaking out about his predatory ways.

It's said the intelligence agencies spied on Rose McGowan and Asia Argento — both actresses have accused the indie movie mogul of sexual assault. Oh, and Harvey's former employees from different film enterprises were enlisted, as well as a high-ranking media editor, to his dirty work. How awful.

Nonetheless, Weinstein's spokesperson has since denied the latest New Yorker allegations, as Sallie Hofmeister noted in a statement:

harvey weinstein accused rape

The Harvey Weinstein scandal just got so much worse.

As you likely know, the indie movie mogul has been fired from his company, The Weinstein Company, following The New York Times' exposé detailing three decades of sexual harassment allegations. While we knew journalist Ronan Farrow was conducting his own investigation into the matter for The New Yorker, we didn't realize his piece would contain allegations of rape against the scandalized producer.

Man, oh man. On Tuesday, The New Yorker published an explosive piece which alleges that Weinstein raped three women, including actress Asia Argento. Per Farrow's account, the industry vet forcibly performed and/or received oral sex. Harvey has also been accused of having forced vaginal sex with women. That is so disturbing on so many levels.

On why Harvey is only just being exposed now, Argento explained to Farrow:
