Then on Monday, the director of the Aspen Homeless Shelter brought him to the Grand Junction lottery office so he could claim his half-million dollar prize!
According to the Colorado Lottery, the odds of claiming the top prize in the "Eternal Splendor" game are 840,000 to 1! Amazing!
Michael had bought the winning $10 ticket at a local gas station, but the clerk explained that he usually never won more than two dollars at a time.
