no thank you

Back in 2001, Britney Spears struck up a HUGE $8 million deal with Pepsi and made some of the greatest soda commercials mankind has ever seen!

However, the picture marriage eventually came to an end with they found out the pop singer had eyes lips for their main competitor in Coca-Cola and they split for good!

Well it sounds like she has officially moved to the warm embrace of Coke's arms, and it's been working out pretty well for her financially!

According to her investment portfolio (which was somehow uncovered during her conservatorship case), Brit Brit has invested some serious dough into

ATT Drops Plans

Who didn't see this a mile away??

After all the FCC fuss, everyone knew that AT&T would just eventually drop their plans to try and get a T-Mobile merger completed. And that's just what they did.

Also, T-Mobile gets $4 billion just because it didn't work out!

AT&T still thinks it was in the best interest of consumers, though, regardless if the FCC thought it would mean less competition and higher prices

Sprint To Start Selling The iPhone 5 In October!

White iPhone 4 Selling Well

Hallelujah! Hey Apple lovers, no more of those pesky early termination fees if you want to switch from Sprint.

The third largest wireless company will now be offering the new iPhone 5 and the current model, iPhone 4, coming this October!

Despite the usual iPhone summer release, Apple has delayed the launch of their new model to October, for unknown reasons, of course.

This will be very exciting for Sprint users though, as the new iPhone 5 will be released the same day to them as Verizon and AT&T users.

The iPhone is basically taking over the world, riiight?

verizon wireless carrying iphone by next year

Although AT&T has exclusivity over the iPhone, it won't last much longer!

Apple Inc. will begin mass producing a new iPhone by the end of the year, allowing Verizon Wireless to sell the phone early next year.

The new iPhone will be similar in design to the iPhone 4, but based on an alternative wireless technology called CDMA used by Verizon. It is expected to be available during the first quarter of next year.

Exciting!

Sorry AT&T Subscribers! No Mad Men For You!

Unless some corporate feuding can be brought to a halt in time for the premiere!

AT&T's contract with AMC expires on July 14th and there is some talk about NOT renewing with the cable provider. Sources explain that Rainbow Media, which owns AMC, is looking for more $$$, and AT&T isn't paying up.

Of course, both sides blame the other and vice versa, but who is really getting hurt is the subscribers who will likely miss the premiere of Mad Men the following week!

No Jon Hamm = Big sad face!

Both sides have released a statement about the dispute. Rainbow Media states:

"It is troubling that AT&T is threatening to yank AMC, WE tv and IFC, and leave their customers without the hottest show on television, AMC's Mad Men, just before the premiere of the new season," AMC said in a statement. "AT&T is acting in an aggressive manner that puts their corporate interests ahead of their customers. We are negotiating in good faith with AT&T and are hopeful that we can reach an agreement as soon as possible so that our viewers don't lose out."

Meanwhile, AT&T goes on the attack, saying:

"Based on aggregate data we obtained from third party industry sources and our own subscribers, some of the Rainbow channels are among the least-watched and most overpriced per viewer compared to other major programming providers. They're also trying to force the renegotiation of a contract for one of their other channels that is not yet expired and force us to carry a new channel that wasn't even formally presented to us until after the recent July 1 contract extension. We want our customers to know that we can't and won't give in to unreasonable deals that unfairly disadvantage our customers."

Money makes the world go round and ruins TV for the rest of us!

Hopefully, something can be sorted out. Otherwise, enjoy watching it on Hulu at 3 a.m.!

Luke Wilson Is Giving Attitude On His AT&T Shoots

You should read that headline and be ashamed of yourself, Luke Wilson.

When an established actor resorts to doing ads for a phone company, that actor has ZERO right to go all divalicious on anyone, but sources are claiming that is exactly what is happening!

Apparently, Luke is "miserable" during the filmings, talking back to directors and requesting lines be rewritten for him. Insiders on set reveal:

"There were some lines meant to direct the commercial in a certain way, but Luke downright refused to say the lines at all. Luke kept saying, 'I would never say that and I will not say that!' The staff and production teams were shocked."

Us too! Who would have guessed he would think he was such hot shiz!

Oh, but that is not all! Seems he is so picky, he won't even film scenes with any other actors! The insider continues to explain:

"Luke will not shoot scenes with other actors. Any scenes that include Luke and someone else were shot with the actors separately. He would not do scenes with anyone, so doubles are used and the scenes are edited together to make the commercials work … Luke has made the filming process so unpleasant that people dread working with him. Luke is annoyed that he has to do commercials to make money as an actor and he makes the experience miserable, because he's miserable. It's unprofessional and unpleasant."

Well, that reputation is sure to get you a slew of movie offers. Everyone loves to work with an ego like that!

Tsk, tsk, Luke! Better shape up!
