Susan Boyle believes she was misdiagnosed by doctors when they said she had hyperactivity as a baby.
SuBo had suffered minor brain damage when she was born through an emergency c-section, but she feels that the doctors were wrong for writing her off so early in life.
Here's what she had to say about it:
"Some people in the medical profession said to my mother when I was one years old, 'Don't expect too much of her.'
More from SuBo:
"How can they foretell that at that young age? They can't. Hyperactivity in the '60s was considered a mental illness. It's not; it's Attention Deficit Disorder, they call it now. I think with myself, it was the wrong misrepresentation. My mum and dad knew it was, (doctors were) professionals and they tended to think that doctors were God and they knew everything, but they don't know everything."
You clearly proved them wrong, SuBo! We're proud of you for not allowing yourself to succumb to labels imposed upon you by others!
You're doing great, bb! Keep it up!
