Tensions were SUPER high on last night’s X Factor results show, where not one, but TWO acts were sent home in the show’s double elimination!

While Lyric 145’s outing was somewhat predictable, the bottom two came down to Demi Lovato’s finalists, Paige Thomas and Jennel Garcia — and NOT CeCe Frey, surprisingly!

We saw a LOT of potential in Jennel, but felt she really lost her spunkiness and sass once her makeover was revealed. It seems Demi should’ve kept her as that girl we met in her audition!

However, Jennel’s elimination didn’t come without difficulty — judges Simon Cowell and Demi went back and forth on who would give the deciding vote, much to host Mario Lopez’s annoyance!

Paige, on the other hand, really shined last night with her song for survival, which you can take a look at… AFTER THE JUMP!!!

During the most recent installment of Nicki Minaj's E! special Nicki Minaj: My Truth, the rainbow-bright rapper addressed the now infamous, on-camera "fight" with Mariah Carey during American Idol auditions…

AND slams Barbara Walters for not calling Nicki to comment after Mariah claimed to the journalist that Nicki had threatened her with gun violence.

Obviously, Nicki denies having EVER said anything about a gun, and actually has some rather endearing words to say about the legendary singer that is Mariah Carey.

Last night’s X Factor revealed which 24 out of 60 contestants made it through boot camp and onto the judges’ homes round!

The two categories featured on Wednesday night’s episode were the Young Adults category, mentored by Demi Lovato and her ex's brother guest mentor, Nick Jonas, and the Groups category, which Simon Cowell took on with Marc Anthony!

One contestant that has just continuously stood out ever since her audition is bullying victim, Jillian Jensen, who is clearly one of the frontrunners in Demi’s category — if not the whole competition!
