Tragic.

As we reported, country singer Craig Morgan's 19-year-old son Jerry Greer was found dead in the water after a tubing accident with friends on Kentucky Lake back in July. So incredibly sad.

According to the autopsy results, the coroner has now confirmed Greer died from drowning — stating that the teen tested positive for marijuana and a low level of alcohol at the time of the accident.

The Assistant Medical Examiner Erin Carney told The Tennessean that Greer was riding on an inner tube behind a boat when the tube flipped, sending Greer under the water. He never came back up despite wearing a life jacket.

But how did the music legend obtain the powerful opioid?!

That's what law officials are trying to figure out. As of now, state and federal prosecutors are investigating exactly how the 57-year-old received the potent substance.

According to sources, police are questioning whether a doctor prescribed the medication to a person who eventually gave it to the Purple Rain musician.

Authorities have already obtained search warrants for Prince's house, his primary physician, and the Walgreens pharmacy which filled his Rx. However, there is currently no link between the three points of interest.

If a doctor illegally prescribes a drug that kills a patient, he or she could face up to 25 years in jail.

All we want is for justice to be brought down on anyone that breaks the law!

During the televised event, Sheriff Jim Olson explained that he wasn't going to be able to say much about what exactly happened to the icon on Thursday, but did offer up a touching tribute to the incredible songsmith, saying:

"This is a tragedy for all of us. To you, Prince Rogers Nelson was a celebrity. To us, he's a community member and a good neighbor. To his family, he is a loved one. In life, he was a very private person. We are going to continue to respect his privacy and dignity and hope you do as well."

The law enforcement leader said that, even though the autopsy has been completed, he can't discuss any objects that were taken from the scene since the case is still under investigation.

Autopsy Reveals Super Bowl Champion Tyler Sash Died From Overdosing On Pain Medication

The report says he died from a mixture of two highly addictive drugs.

This is so sad.

Last month, football player Tyler Sash was found dead at his home in Oskaloosa, Iowa. At the time, police didn't suspect foul play, but the Iowa State Medical Examiner's Office conducted an autopsy to determine his cause of death.

On Tuesday, the examiner announced the results, explaining that the 27-year-old died from "an accidental mixed drug toxicity involving methadone and hydrocodone."

Reports say the two drugs are not only used to relieve pain, but are also highly addictive. According to authorities, Tyler had a prescription for the hydrocodone, but they aren't sure how he had the other narcotic.

The report also showed that some "significant conditions" of his death included the New York Giants safety's history of chronic shoulder pain, as well as a recent shoulder dislocation.

The medical examiner will also be running more tests to figure out whether or not the Super Bowl champion suffered from chronic traumatic encephalopathy, which is a "brain disease caused by repetitive trauma that has been found in several former NFL players."

Officials say these new test results could take eight to ten months, but aren't saying anything else about the exam. In fact, they aren't even releasing where it will happen.

It's always sad to lose someone, especially so young. Our hearts go out to everyone affected by this terrible tragedy.
