More bad news for T.I.!

The rapper, who is expected to head back to prison for an 11-month sentence for violating his probation, already lost his endorsement deal with Axe Body spray, and has now been dropped as a spokesperson for Rémy Martin cognac!

A spokesperson released the following statement:

"Sometimes the 'road to redemption' is a difficult path. Regrettably, we will not be able to continue collaborating with T.I. at this time. We wish T.I. well and hope he will devote his time and energy to staying the course."

Too bad.

But unfortunately, actions have consequences, and hopefully this time he'll be able to stay on track!

Thoughts??

It certainly sucks to be T.I. this week!

The rapper, who was recently arrested for posesssion of ecstasy, may now be losing his promotional gig with AXE body spray!

A rep claims that they are "troubled by T.I.'s arrest" and are "reviewing our promotional activities" with him!

So much for cleaning up his act!

Too bad, so sad!

Sorry, bb! Actions - like drug use - have consequences!

Levi's Jeans Should Come With A Warning

Levi's has rolled out a new commercial that's sure to get guys in their jeans.

The denim company is taking the Axe approach — if you wear their product you'll get girls. But unlike the body spray, Levi's can get you a little more than you bargained for.

Check it out for yourself in the clip, above!

Are Hazardous Chemicals In Your Perfume Or Cologne???

ap071101050806_e.jpg

It's possible!

A study conducted by the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics and the Environmental Working Group found that 17 of the top fragrances contained 38 secret chemicals!

Gross!

Here are their findings as to which fragrance had the most chemicals:

American Eagle Seventy-Seven - 24
Chanel Coco - 18
Britney Spears Curious - 17
Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gio - 17
Old Spice After Hours Body Spray - 16
Quicksilver - 16
Calvin Klein Eternity for Men - 15
Bath & Body Works Japanese Cherry-Blossom - 14
Calvin Klein Eternity for Women - 14
Halle by Halle Berry - 13
Hannah Montana Secret Celebrity - 13
Victoria's Secret Dream Angels Wish - 13
Abercrombie & Fitch Fierce - 11
Jennifer Lopez J. Lo Glow - 11
AXE Body Spray for Men: Shock - 10
Clinque Happy - 9
Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue - 7

EWG's SVP for Research Jane Houlihan said "Every product we tested contains a mixture of secret chemical compounds not listed on the labels".

She adds that the unmentioned chemicals "included 10 sensitizing chemicals that can trigger allergic reactions, four hormone disrupters in each product and a dozen chemicals not tested for safety by government or the fragrance industry itself."

Shady!

So how did each company get away with doing that? There's a loophole in the system!

The Federal Fair Packaging and Labeling Act of 1973 says they are not required to break down the specific ingredients, but label them as "fragrances".

After 30+ years, we think it's time the FDA changes their policy.

Thoughts???
