U2's upcoming tour, however, not so much.

We are happy to report that Bono is doing exceedingly well after undergoing emergency spinal surgery.

Though he faces two months of grueling physical therapy, he was discharged from the Munich hospital this morning with his doctor's blessing.

When asked about the procedure and recovery time for Bono, Dr. Jeorg Tonn explained:

"The surgery was the only course of treatment for full recovery and to avoid further paralysis. Bono is now much better, with complete recovery of his motor deficit. The prognosis is excellent, but to obtain a sustainable result, he must now enter a period of rehabilitation."

Translation: No U2 in town for you, U.K. and U.S.

With Bono in therapy, all of their upcoming tour dates have been postponed.

We think we speak for everyone when we say that the tour can wait. Bono needs this time to get back on his feet. The guy could use some rest.

Oh no!

Bono has injured his back while preparing for the North American leg of U2's 360 Degree world tour and has gone under emergency surgery in a Munich hospital.

His spokesperson says:

"Bono has today undergone emergency back surgery for an injury sustained during tour preparation training. He was admitted to a specialist neuro surgery unit in a Munich hospital. Bono will spend the next few days there, before returning home to recuperate. Once his condition has been assessed further, a statement will be made regarding the impact on forthcoming tour dates."

Their current tour so far has been extremely successful with some experts predicting it will be the highest-grossing tour in history.

U2 needs you back on your feet, bb, so that you can continue to rake in the dough!
