That must have been some ratted up hair!!

After playing around in the pool and sauna at her London hotel, Rihanna was left with a huge mess on top of her head!!

Since she was planning an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show, she needed an emergency fix and FAST!

Instead of calling a local stylist, RiRi got El Lay stylist Ursula Stephen on the first flight out to the UK.

And she dropped an astonishing 15,000 British pounds or $23,900 to do it. Dayum!

An insider explains:

When she got out, her hair was tangled and matted. She slapped a load of conditioner on but it didn't get through the mass.

She didn't want to take the chance on an unknown. Because they were on such a tight schedule, they had to get her on the first flight.

Rihanna didn't care about paying a fortune. Rihanna shoved a hat on to go to the studios. She was fine when she knew Ursula was on her way.

Well ya gotta do what ya gotta do!! RiRi isn't just an artist, she's a pop star. It's all part of the job!!

Everyone has a bad hair day once in a while. And for Richard Gere, his just happened to get photographed by the paparazzi.

Gere was heading to his car in Soho, NYC, yesterday during a windy afternoon.

The results produced a hairy standing effect on the 61-year-old.

And yes, we’re getting an Einstein vibe from the look.

Then again, even with some crazy hair going on, Gere still manages to look dreamy.
