Balenciaga creative director Nicolas Ghesquière paid homage to Cristobal Balenciaga Spanish heritage in his own sexy way for the fashion house's S/S 2013 collection.
Kristen Stewart's #1 fan was not only inspired by Cristobal's "cubism and architectural rigidity", but also the "mythology, antiquity, and movement" of Balenciaga's work off the runway, which included costumes for the 1960s film Le Testament d’Orphée and a 1930s ballet performance Ravel's Boléro.
The end result was a dreamy and whimsical collection of bra tops, pantsuits, squared tops, sleeveless jackets, stiff coats, asymmetrical cut skirts, tweed, and lots of lace, flamenco ruffles and embroidered accents.
Now the question remains: which looks will KStew wear on her upcoming Twilight press tour???
