The 8" ballerina-inspired red sole heels were designed for the English National Ballet and auctioned off at their summer party on Wednesday night.

No word on how much they went for, but they probably weren't cheap.

Could this be the answer to uncomfortable heels???

Designer Raphael Young claims he created “the most comfortable high heel ever” which features a rubber, flexible sole.

The R-Flex shoe began years ago when Young was trying to figure out a way to make a stylish yet comfortable heel. He reveals:

“After trials and tests in the factory, I found the technical solution to make shoes as flexible and comfy as a ballerina. We patented it.”

The shoes come in several colors and two different heights, and are priced at about $550.

Worth the price? Or better to just wear flats?

In a new behind the scenes clip, costume designer Amy Westcott along with Laura and Kate Mulleavy explain the thought process behind their intricate designs.

The film's makeup director Margie Durand also dishes on how they used MAC Cosmetics to achieve the signature look.
