Balloon Boy's Balloon Has Been Sold!

balloon-boys-balloon-has-been-sold

Ugh. Just when we thought we were rid of them.

You guys remember the Balloon Boy debacle, right? The Colorado family that pretended that their child had floated away in a silver helium balloon and caused a media circus, when he was in reality only hiding in the house?

Yeah, we had tried to forget about them, too, but the publicity seeking sneaks are back - and this time, they're attempting to do some good!

According to Richard and Mayumi Heene's lawyer, the couple have sold the aforementioned balloon in an auction for $2,502, and the majority of the that will be going to Japanese earthquake and tsunami relief!

That's good and all, but we just hope that they have paid off their $36,000 in restitution fees to the authorities who bent over backwards trying to save their child for no reason whatsoever!

Just saying!

Balloon Boy Parents Selling Balloon For Charity

Filed under: Wacky, Tacky & True

Balloon Boy donation

The parents of Balloon Boy, who lied to authorities about their son floating away in a helium balloon, are now lying saying they will auction off the infamous balloon and donate the proceeds to Japanese earthquake and tsunami relief.

Richard and Mayumi Heene said in a recent video that they are working with California lawyer Perry Rausher on the auction, who has confirmed his involvement.

It sounds like they could be telling…the TRUTH!

We hate to sound so cynical, but it's hard to believe a man who lied about losing his child in the sky…in a balloon.

The cause is very admirable, but we'd be rather donate directly the Red Cross to make sure our money is ACTUALLY helping out victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami.

Do U think Balloon Boy's parents are telling the truth or is this a last ditch effort to make some money from their ridiculous story?

Is Botox Mom The New Balloon Boy Dad???

kerry-campbell-lying-about-botox-injections-to-get-famous.jpg

Here we go again.

There are new reports going around that Kerry Campbell's story of injecting her 8 year old daughter with Botox is one big publicity stunt to get famous.

According to one source the whole thing is fishy:

"It's beginning to look like Kerry's claims about giving her daughter Botox injections looks like a hoax, and that Kerry is making the entire thing up for publicity. Kerry is obsessed with reality television, and wants to become famous. Child Protective Services are conducting an investigation about the Botox claims, and at this point, there is absolutely no evidence that Kerry injected Britney with Botox."

There's also a good chance her name isn't really Kerry Campbell and doesn't live in San Francisco.

Miriam Lacey did some digging back in March when the UK's Sun newspaper first published the story only to discover both mom and daughter have no "online footprint".

She also couldn't find any records for a "Kerry Campbell" with The California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology, even though she claimed to be an part-time esthetician.

Shady, shady, shady!

We think it's safe to say this whole thing is effed up, but what do U think???

Anyone Want To Represent Balloon Boy's Dad In A Lawsuit? Anyone?

balloon-boy-dad-sueing.jpg

Yeah, we don't imagine there's gonna be too many takers.

Richard Heene is still trying to milk all the attention he can out of his now infamous stunt involving NOT putting his son into a balloon that floated away. Sources have learned from Richard that he is on the hunt for a lawyer to help him sue the Colorado police and judicial system for putting him behind bars.

Why yes, he did admit that it was all a hoax! How good of you to remember! Yes, there is documentation of him pleading guilty to a felony charge of attempting to influence a public servant in connection with the incident. But all of that doesn't matter, you see…because he was set-up by the police to do all those things.

So what has he done? He's started reaching out to reputable & established law firms - on Craigslist. Here's his ad:

"I need an attorney to let me know if I have a lawsuit against corrupt cops and judicial system. A friend of mine thinks I do, so that friend put up videos on YouTube that you can look at to make a determination. The videos clearly demonstrate cops and a prosecutor lying. If you are an attorney and you are interested in taking this case on, then please contact me ASAP and I will send you the links. I have selected your city for the search, as the town of the incident can not be trusted. "

Such dirty dealers in his little Colorado town. Of course, how awful of them to blame you for deceiving the world for your own benefit and fame. Shame, shame, shame on them!

Balloon Boy's Starting A Band

balloon-boy-forming-boy-band-with-brothers.jpg

We don't know if we should be petrified or giddy about this news, so for the time being, we're just going to laugh!

Sources are reporting that the infamous Balloon Boy and his brothers are forming their own boy band. Falcon, who is seven, would lead the group, with his two brothers Bradford and Ryo, dutifully by his side.

Gee, wonder where this idea came from? It couldn't have been from his attention-craving, disturbingly pathological lying father Richard Heene, who may also perform with the boys as a backup musician…could it?

Of course it could! Richard is looking to the future, in more ways than one!

The news that the boys could start getting musical comes from a family friend and musician Smokey Miles. Smokey says he's talked to the boys and thinks they could really be a success. He goes on to explain:

"Richard himself plays harmonica, and his wife is a good guitar player too. They are encouraging their boys with the band but they have not come up with a name yet. They wanted to call themselves The Balloon Boy Band, but for legal reasons, this would not be permitted, so other names like The Bear Scratch Band are being talked about as well…he believes that his sons' band can become successful and that the Bear Scratchers will also sell really well too."

Oh yeah, the Bear Scratchers. That's Richie's other business venture, when he isn't plotting ways to exploit his children. Smokey says that he started to manufacture $20.00 Bear Scratch posts in his house and so far, he's managed to sell almost 100 posts! Simply incredible, huh?!

But back to the boy band. With the money Richie has gotten from his bear stick things, he's moved the family to Tampa, FL, the birthing place of bands like The Backstreet Boys and NSync.

Coincidence? Not on your life!

We don't think the Jonas Brothers have much to worry about, though. We don't think Disney or Nickelodeon are looking to add another obnoxious, money-hungry, lunatic father to their payroll!

Besides, isn't this guy suppose to be in jail for duping the entire world into thinking he was a terrible father by letting his son fly off in a balloon, rather than knowing he was a terrible father for letting everyone think his son flew off in a balloon?

Although Mayumi Heene, the mother of the Balloon Boy, was sentenced to 20 days in prison for her part in the balloon hoax, she will now only have to perform supervised community service for 10 weeks!

She originally received 4 years probation in addition to 20 years in jail. A soure reveals:

“It was decided that because she had three young sons that she could do the supervised community service instead. This means that on Saturday and Sunday she will check in with the alternative sentencing unit and do the supervised community work between 8am and 5pm before being allowed to return home."

The Heenes also got their fine reduced from $48,000 to $36,000.

Lucky break!
