There are few things sadder than a baby deer losing its mother.

In a real life Bambi story, things probably don't tend to have a storybook ending.

When a sweet little baby deer's mama was hit by a car and killed in Indiana, she was left to die in a ditch, having only been born a few days earlier.

Lucky for her, a family came by, named her Daisy and started feeding and taking care of her.

Daisy still lives outside and comes and goes as she pleases, but she will come when she's called and acts like a doggy instead of a deer!

So cute! We love a happy ending!

Isn't Angelina Jolie enough?!? ;)

Brad Pitt has reportedly just purchased three works of art from graffiti master Bambi.

And the prize of the three is a portrait of Prince William and Kate Middleton with the words "A Bit Like Marmite" plastered across their chest. Sooo deep!

Innestered in the other two?? Welll… we hear those works are portraits of the Queen and Amy Winehouse.

GEEZ! What kind of British appreciation shrine is he building?!? LOL!

Bambi is super aDORable sheep that loves jumping on the bed.

But kiddies aren't supposed to prance about on furniture and neither are sheep.

And Bambi learns that the hard way! LOLz!

Today, the Library of Congress announced which films will be added to the 2011 National Film Registry (NFR), and some of their noteworthy picks include Bambi, Forrest Gump, and The Silence of The Lambs.

Other classics making it into the NFR include Billy Wilder's The Lost Weekend, Fritz Lang's The Big Heat, and Ramon Menendez's Stand and Deliver.

Tinsley Mortimer took her baby pooch Bambi out for a stroll in Midtown Manhattan this past week.

As you might've noticed, neither look too thrilled to be photographed on their afternoon outing.

Still, at least you're not shoved in a bag, Bambi!

Somewhere at PETA headquarters, they are putting Ted Nugent's name in a Burn Book.

Aging rocker, reality star and hunting enthusiast Ted Nugent was fined $1,750 after pleading no contest to charges of using illegal methods to kill a young dear on his reality show, Spirit of The Wild.

While taping his Outdoor Channel series, Ted was caught baiting and killing a spike buck with a bow and arrow. The California Department of Fish and Game explain that this is illegal due to the size of the animal. It is considered much too small for hunting.

Somehow, we don't think Ted had too much remorse for Bambi. Good to know though how much a young deer's life is worth to some people!

P.S. - Who else thinks that despite it being on a channel we have never heard of before, Ted's show still gets better ratings that Mushy's Beautiful People ever did? Anyone?
