It's a New Year!

Here is a quick and delicious dessert recipe that wont have you breaking your resolutions. Light and sweet with a hint of melted chocolate, it will satisfy your cravings without the guilt. Keep this recipe on hand for when unexpected guests stop by: they will be impressed you whipped up a soufflé in a matter of minutes! Get creative, and try substituting the bananas with raspberries or other fruit!

Banana Chocolate Soufflé

3 large egg whites
1/3 cup sugar
2 large, ripe bananas (about 1 1/2 cup, smashed)
3 tablespoons mini chocolate chips or cocoa powder (or both)

Preheat oven to 450 degrees, and butter 6 small ramekin dishes (3/4 - 1 cup capacity or other small oven safe bowls)

Beat egg whites in medium size bowl with electric mixer until stiff (you could hold the bowl upside down and it stays in place) Slowly mix in sugar with mixer until well combined. Gently fold in smashed bananas and chocolate until blended together: don't over mix or the egg whites will deflate. Divide mixture among the ramekins and bake until puffed and golden - about 15 minutes. When you remove from the oven, run a knife around the edges to help prevent deflating. Enjoy!

Sister Mary Clarence, what the HAIL are you wearing on your feet!?

Whoopi Goldberg attended the opening of the Sister Act play in Paris on Thursday and went a little cray with her outfit.

The View host wore black pants under what looked like one of Andre Leon Talley's hand-me-downs and a $1400 pair of Kobi Levi banana shoes.

We’re struggling to believe that anyone would pay that for them, but then again, who would imagine that Kanye West could sell his shoes for $6,000?!

The pixie cut and Hollywood go together like peas and carrots, just ask Ginnifer Goodwin.

The gorgeous brunette has been rocking the pixie for awhile now and begs to differ when people say it's a hard cut to master.

Ginnifer explained at last week's Young Hollywood Awards:

“People say it’s a difficult hairstyle to pull off, but I don’t see how it is tricky. I have very curly hair and I straighten it every day — it takes maybe two minutes. I can’t imagine anyone having a bigger challenge than I do in the kinkiness that is my crazy ‘fro. I can wear far more with short hair than I could when I had [long] hair. Everything goes with short hair. It's bananas."

We're sure Rachel Zoe can vouch for that!

To christen her account, Tyra Banks created this kooky photograph (above) to show her love of Carly Rae Jepsen's Call Me Maybe.

Miss Carly sings her music through Biebs' record label and Tyra is clearly obsessed with the tune.

She captioned her first Instagram:
