It's a New Year!
Here is a quick and delicious dessert recipe that wont have you breaking your resolutions. Light and sweet with a hint of melted chocolate, it will satisfy your cravings without the guilt. Keep this recipe on hand for when unexpected guests stop by: they will be impressed you whipped up a soufflé in a matter of minutes! Get creative, and try substituting the bananas with raspberries or other fruit!
Banana Chocolate Soufflé
3 large egg whites
1/3 cup sugar
2 large, ripe bananas (about 1 1/2 cup, smashed)
3 tablespoons mini chocolate chips or cocoa powder (or both)
Preheat oven to 450 degrees, and butter 6 small ramekin dishes (3/4 - 1 cup capacity or other small oven safe bowls)
Beat egg whites in medium size bowl with electric mixer until stiff (you could hold the bowl upside down and it stays in place) Slowly mix in sugar with mixer until well combined. Gently fold in smashed bananas and chocolate until blended together: don't over mix or the egg whites will deflate. Divide mixture among the ramekins and bake until puffed and golden - about 15 minutes. When you remove from the oven, run a knife around the edges to help prevent deflating. Enjoy!

For a great back to school snack, try making a frozen fruit bowl! Peel and slice a few bananas. Place them on a baking sheet along with some green and red grapes. Freeze for at least one hour…pour into a bowl for a refreshing after school snack.

What a cool idea! (pun intended!)
A very clever… chef?… ice-creamer?… inventor?… has started selling soft-serve frozen bananas, which has the consistency and flavor of ice cream:
We provide an organic, vegan, unprocessed dessert that you can feel good about. Aiming to appeal to nearly everyone, we offer an alternative to many other desserts that exclude large groups of people with dietary restrictions or preferences. With the consistency and flavor of ice cream, but without all of the additive, sugars, or dairy - you don't have to sacrifice a thing!
It looks delicious, plus it's awesome that it's called Rob & Anna's, because that's totally a play on the words Raw Bananas!
Looks good, sounds good, this is a wonderful idea! Send us a sample! Ha!
