We were warned about this, but now that it's actually becoming a reality…it's pretty weird.

Max Weinberg will not be returning to Conan's new TBS show, and we feel a little bit hollow inside because of it.

Come on, Max! You're a staple of the show! Don't do this to us. What divalicious demands can Conan and TBS meet to keep you on board?

Unless Weinberg's inner diva is satisfied, it looks like bandleading duties at the show will be taken over by Jimmy Vivino, who was previously the guitarist on Conan's Late Night show.

Wow! That's a serious burn!

Although Simon Cowell has been receiving quite a bit of press regarding his exit from American Idol, he's not the only member of the team to say good-bye!

We've reported that Rickey Minor, the show's bandleader for six seasons, is departing the competition to take over the band on The Tonight Show, and we're hearing that he was majorly PISSED OFF that he wasn't even acknowledged during last night's season finale!

Sources claim that after the crowning of Mr. Lee DeWyze as the next American Idol, Minor unleashed on the show's producers and refused to go the after party until Randy Jackson took it upon himself to try and patch things up!

Minor then begrudgingly showed up, said a few words, but "you could cut the bitterness with a knife."

Understandable! The show wouldn't go on without him and they couldn't even say a few words on air regarding his departure?!

That's not how you should treat your employees! Especially after six years!

So unfortunate! We hope the Idol producers are ashamed of themselves!

Wow! They sure found a new guy quickly!

Just two days after Kevin Eubanks announced his resignation as band leader on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, we've learned that American Idol musical director Rickey Minor will be succeeding him in the position!

Although an official announcement will be made later today, NBC has confirmed that Minor has joined the late night talk show and will be debuting on June 7th!

Not bad, Jay! Pretty solid replacement, if you ask us!!
