7 year old soccer player

He won't be playing in the big leagues anytime soon, but Real Madrid has signed 7-year-old Argentinian soccer prodigy Leonel Angel Coira to their youth academy.

Leonel or "Leo" will be playing on the club's "Benjamin" squad, which is made up of kids under 9-years-old. Although most young players signed to clubs do not make it professionally, Leo hopes to follow in the footsteps of his idol and two-time World Player of the Year, Lionel Messi, who played on Barcelona's youth team until reaching major league success. The young prodigy told reporters:

Biking Saves Lives!

Biking saves lives

In Spain, at least!

Bike-sharing programs, which have popped up in cities around the world, will definitely save users money and kill a couple hundred more calories in their body, but recent research has found they will save lives too!

A study published in the British Medical Journal last week showed Barcelona's bike-sharing program not only saved 9,000 tons of pollution from carbon dioxide, but saved 12 lives per year due to the extra heart-healthy exercise.

Despite a VERY SMALL increase in deaths from bike-related traffic accidents (0.03 deaths) and air pollution (0.13), the overall health benefits of physical activity for the 180,000 cyclists using the program outweighed the risks.

We can't advocate bike-sharing programs enough and think they are wonderful!

We've said it before and we'll say it again, do not wait for a city-sponsored program to pop up near you to start benefiting from the healthy exercise this form of transportation has to offer!

Spanish Point Guard To Join NBA Next Season

Euro invasion!!!

Ricky Rubio, a point guard from Spain, will join the Timberwolves next season. This decision ends a two-year negotiation with the team.

The reason it took so long is because he was already in a contract to play for Regal Barcelona.

Rubio is supposed to be a phenomenal player, so he’ll be a great addition to the Timberwolves!

Can’t wait to see what he can do!

Reese Is Twice As Nice In Spain

Reese Witherspoon had a busy weekend hopping from one European city to the next.

On Sunday night, the blonde actress was looking a little jet-lagged at the Barcelona premiere of Agua Para Elefantes in a simple little black dress and black heels.

The next day, Reese looked more refreshed at the photo call held at Barcelona's historic traveling circus and museum Circ Raluy.

For Monday's photo-op the newlywed slipped into a printed Erdem sheath dress and nude Jimmy Choos.

We prefer Reese's well rested look.

What about U???
