Well this is interesting!
Diane von Furstenberg and her husband Barry Diller are literally not willing to live without their beloved Jack Russell terrier Shannon! In fact, the couple hired a Korean cloning firm for $100,000 to duplicate their pup's DNA!
According to the New York Post, the process gave the fashion designer two new puppies that are exact replicas of Shannon — say hello to Deena and Evita!

Diane Von Furstenberg and husband Barry Diller's winter vacation was cut short after she was involved in a bad ski accident in Aspen.
The designer told WWD:
"Barry and I were skiing happily. Some Brazilian man, who could not ski, lost control and went straight at me, hitting me badly on my face and ribs with his camera."
Must have been one helluva camera!
DVF was immediately rushed to a hospital and then flown to UCLA where she was treated for a broken nose and facial fractures.
Our face hurts just thinking about it.
The 64 year old, who says she looks like Mike Tyson after his worst fight, is now recovering in El Lay.
Get well soon!

It was announced this morning that long time chairman of Live Nation, Barry Diller, has told the members of the board his plans to resign.
Many people this decision has come about due to the clash between Barry and his other board members over creative musical control, but in his statement announcing his plans, Barry makes no mention of that. His statement reads:
“I have always said, since the merger of Ticketmaster and Live Nation, that I only planned to stay as chairman through the transition and integration of the two companies. It’s been almost a year and I informed the board today that while there was no rush, the board should start the process now to appoint a new chairman.”
When exactly this will all happen no one quite knows yet, but we do know Barry isn't going too far. He intends to stay on the board, but just not in the chairman position.
Stepping down isn't as effective as stepping away. What's the point if you're not going to go off and do something else? You've probably got enough money for an early retirement! Go, relax! Shuffleboard it up somewhere!
