What a surprise…The Jersey Shore!
Pauly D, Vinnie, The Situation and Ronnie continued to steal America's dignity hearts this year as their show was the most watched by adults between the ages of 18 and 49 with 6,568,000 of them watching every week.
But what two shows were in the hunt to compete with the MTV reality television juggernaut?
The only other show even CLOSE to beating the Guido's and Guidettes was

Ready for some more zombie action??
AMC's hit show The Walking Dead is returning for a THIRD season.
The show is only on its second episode in its second season, but AMC has faith in their zombie drama.
And who can blame them?? The pilot brought in more viewers than any other drama in basic cable history.
Right now, they're

Wow! Everyone loves zombies, but THIS is unheard of!
The second season of AMC's The Walking Dead premiered Sunday night with a total of 7.3 million total viewers, which broke the almost ten year record for the strongest telecast of a drama in basic cable history!
Not only that, but it's a 38% increase in total viewership over the zombie-fest's first season!
According to AMC President Charlie Collier:

Here we go!
Just one day after the launch of Oprah Winfrey's new cable channel OWN, fans flooded her website with messages complaining over the new cable fees that they will have to pay to add her channel to their TV lineup.
Some of the angry messages included:
"Cannot believe Oprah would launch a new show on a cable channel that is not part of the basic service."
"She will be losing some of her most loyal fans because they either do not have cable or they have basic cable. I have basic cable and do not plan on changing my cable service."
"Oprah has lost me as I am sure many other people. Too bad that she didn't look into a channel that would serve everyone."
"I am very disappointed that I will not be able to watch Oprah (whom I love). I cannot afford to pay the extra monthly fee."
Regardless of the complaints, we still think Oprah's new channel will be a success.
Did U watch the launch of OWN this past weekend?

Did you all forget it was on or something??? We expected a lot more than this!
Season four of Mad Men premiered Sunday night to a new high for the series, but pitiful numbers where cable television is concerned.
The show got about 2.9 million people to tune in.
Okay, pitiful maybe a bit strong…except it's not! Seriously, there was so much hype! Where the hell was everyone?!
Fear not, True Blood! You vamps still own the night!

If you really look at what sets True Blood apart from all the other effin vampire shows out there, there really is only one key thing: Sex!
Seksi sex with very naked people in very graphic ways. These are the benefits of being vampires on HBO, but take that away and all you have is Twilight minus the sparkling.
And that's exactly what's about to happen when the show moves to basic cable!
Sources are confimring that HBO is shopping the show around to cable providers to rebroadcast reruns just like the Sopranos and Sex & The City did.
Yeah, didn't work for them! Not gonna work for Vampire Bill!
There haven't been any takers yet, but that won't be a problem. The show is the highest rated in HBO history. TBS is sure to want that on it's lineup!
Will U watch True Blood on cable?
