Alfred Hitchcock must be rolling over in his grave right now!
Not because he hates Bates Motel — the A&E prequel to his critically adored thriller, Psycho — but because being stuck in the same pine box for thirty-plus years sounds totes uncomfortable!
We think he's due for a repositioning, LOLz!!
Above ground, meanwhile, the lovely Vera Farmiga and her adorbzies TV son Freddie Highmore star as Momma Bates and loving son Norman in a super-scurry modern retelling of the creepiest story ever put to paper!
Ch-ch-check out six mysterious minutes from the Bates Motel premiere (above)!
Like what you see?
Watch the series premiere on Monday, March 18… if you dare!!
We're already hearing some pretty good things about the upcoming prequel series, Bates Motel — so we're just pleased as punch to see that these show posters turned out so damn creepy!
They, we assume, are giving us a perfect sense of the tone of the new series, which premiers on March 18th. Oh, and did we mention it's starring Freddie Highmore of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory fame? Perfection!
Which one is your favorite (below)? That's cool!
We don't have a favorite because we're not creepers.
Anyone who has ever wondered what happened to that adorable kid from Finding Neverland and Tim Burton's Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is about to get one HELLUVA rude awakening!
Because apparently, he grows up to be the serial killer Norman Bates in Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho!
But in the upcoming A&E prequel mini-series, Bates Motel, the now-very-grown-up Freddie Highmore takes on the role made famous by Anthony Perkins as a teenager, with Vera Farmiga portraying his eventually-very-skeletal mother!
Kanye West may not have been having the best week - between the gay rumors, his latest temper tantrum, and a bruised up Lamborghini - but we have a feeling that with this weekend, all of that's about to change!
The sometimes-volatile yet supremely talented rapper has been hard at work recording his new album in Paris, and apparently, has few very creative, larger than life tricks up his sleeve for how he's going to begin its promotional campaign!
Which, of course, started last night, when he projected a video of himself performing his brand new single, New Slaves, onto the sides of 66 BUILDINGS LOCATED ALL OVER THE WORLD!
Ch-ch-check out to what the folks of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, were treated on the corner of Bedford and N. 7 (above)!
