Kylie Minogue & Enrique Iglesias Make Beautiful Music Together! Listen To Their Loving Duet HERE!

This is one sentimental ballad!

Kylie Minogue and Enrique Iglesias are bringing their majestical voices together to create pure duet'd bliss for their latest track, Beautiful.

The pair's sweet jam will be featured on Kylie's new album Kiss Me Once, as well as Enrique's latest collection of tracks, Sex + Love - which like, totally never happens!

We love that the song holds true to proper duet formalities, as both musicians are heard singing equal amounts of the entirely lovely track.

Ch-ch-check out the heartwarming ear candy (above) and bask in its lyrical beauty!

X Factor Ratings Are Hurting In The UK!

x factor uk ratings are down

Just when things seemed to be turning around for the show in the US…

For the first time in FOUR YEARS, BBC1's Strictly Come Dancing beat the UK version of X Factor in the ratings! Ouchie!

The Saturday night Halloween-themed broadcast of Strictly brought in an average audience of 10.1 million viewers, which was one million MORE than X Factor! Ouchie X2!

Here's what a source close to Simon Cowell had to say about it:

"Simon says it’s good to have some healthy competition. He says 'good on the BBC, well done.'"

And here's what a spokesman for the BBC had to say about it:

"We are delighted that more and more viewers keep tuning in to watch Strictly Come Dancing and that our Halloween spectacular was the most watched programme of the evening by far."

Should be interesting to see if Simon will be able to bring those UK X Factor ratings back up. Hopefully he's able to think of something quick!

Good luck!

BBC Anchor Wins Age Discrimination Case Against Network!

miriam-o-reilly-wins-age-discrimination-case-against-bbc

This is pretty crummy. We're glad that they're taking responsibility - as they rightfully should.

The BBC has been found guilty of age discrimination after a female anchor with more than 20 years of experience took them to court for being being unfairly fired earlier last year!

Miriam O'Reilly worked as an anchor on the BBC1 rural affairs program Countryfile. When network controller Jay Hunt moved the program to a weekday primetime slot, she and two other female presenters were replaced with younger talent, despite the show's older men anchors successfully making the transition.

O'Reilly claimed in the employment tribunal that managers thought that she was "too old" for prime time, and even offered her hair dye to make her appear younger!

Just awful!

Luckily, in light of the ruling, she is expected to receive a significant payout, and a spokesperson for the BBC has released the following statement:

"We accept the findings of the tribunal and would like to apologize to Miriam. We will be speaking to her. We would like to acknowledge the important contribution Miriam has made to the BBC over more than 20 years and we would welcome the opportunity to discuss working with her again in the future."

Well, we're glad steps are being taken to rectify the situation, but that doesn't excuse this even happening to begin with!

Deplorable!

May this never happen again!

Thoughts??
