Ed Sheeran Crashes Katy Perry's Interview — And The Chained To The Rhythm Singer Flips Him Off!

no title

What a weird interview.

While promoting her latest single, Chained To The Rhythm, on BBC Radio 1's Breakfast Show, Katy Perry received a surprise guest in the form of Ed Sheeran! How? Why? What?

Well, it all started when, the pop star saw Sheeran walking past the window of the studio (where he was busy covering Little Mix btw) — and flipped him the bird for keeping her off the number one spot. However, this exchange motivated the Shape Of You singer to totally crash Miz Perry's interview — where he got candid about their particularly sweaty first meeting.

While Katy didn't initially want to hug the sweaty Ed, she (jokingly) says nowadays she'd let the hitmaker put his "ball sack" on her. Girl, chill.

Regardless, this wasn't the only bizarre memory the twosome exchanged in front of the show's host, Nick Grimshaw (AKA Grimmy). There's even an anecdote that involved armpit sniffing…

When the Nick introduced the DJ duo's latest single, Paris, as the track of the day, Matt declared the bop to be nothing more than a pile of garbage, saying:

"Oh, it's going to be rubbish. It's going to be rubbish. Put it on, let's see what this is like."

In between performing his song All We Got — which featured Ye — and covering Drake's Feel No Ways, Chance exclaimed:

"I want to extend a special prayer to my big brother Kanye West. I know there's a lot of weird folks out there, but you already know that I'm a hundred grand. I want to just extend this prayer and this love from all the way in Britain. We might come home early to see this. Happy Thanksgiving."

On the surface, you may not think Panic! at the Disco and The Weeknd share too much in common aside from unique stage names… but boy, would you be wrong.

That's because Panic! frontman Brendon Urie just proved his own singing capabilities with his take on Starboy for BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge on Monday!

Video: The Weeknd Is A Boy Star Singing Starboy At The 2016 AMAs!

While we absolutely adore Abél's vocals on the Daft Punk-produced track normally, Brendon's pop punk aesthetic may actually serve the song a little bit better.

Sorry, Weeknd!!!

Separately… bassist Dallon Weekes?? Swoon.

Shawn Mendes Performs A Parody Of His Own Song Stitches — All About His 2017 Tour!

no title

We thought we'd heard this one before…

Shawn Mendes is currently garnering a ton of radio play with his single Treat You Better, but his debut smash Stitches will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Luckily, it seems as though the 18-year-old is on the same page — because he just busted out a Stitches parody during an interview with BBC Radio 1 on Thursday!

Video: Shawn Mendes Hopes To Treat You Better In New Music Video

As you may already know, Shawn is scheduled to take over the planet with his Illuminate World Tour in 2017… but there are simply too many dates for one man to remember!

It's a good thing host Cel Spellman was locked and loaded with a version of the Canadian pop star's song complete with all of his upcoming concerts in place of the actual lyrics.

We know this is all just for fun, but he somehow sounds as good LIVE as he does in his radio edits!

Ch-ch-check out Shawn's Stitches like you've never heard it before (below)!!!
