Sounds to us like Bruce Willis has still got it in him!
At least compared to Arnold Schwarzennegger and Sylvester Stallone!
While the latter two's recent movie debuts for The Last Stand and Bullet to the Head have been pretty weak, financially, the iconic action star's latest foray as John McClane in A Good Day To Die Hard, dominated the weekend box office by not only grossing an estimated $25 million between Friday and today, but by making it the third time in the five-film series that an installment has debuted at the #1 spot!
Meanwhile, surely much to the chagrin of critic Rex Reed, Identity Thief held strong in the #2 spot, with $23.4 million, followed closely by the latest Nicholas Spark sap-fest Safe Haven, which came in #3 with $21.5 million!
Sadly, the debut of Beautiful Creatures didn't add much to the world of supernatural romance, as Warm Bodies managed to top it in its debut week, making $9 million compared to the new release's $7.5!
But hey! It's a holiday weekend!
All of this could change by President's Day!
See for yourself which movies made it the top of the box office this weekend…AFTER THE JUMP!!!
