Yay!!!! Wait, there were BUGS in their drinks?!?!?!
Last month, news broke that Starbucks' Strawberry and Creme Frappucino wasn't vegan, even with soy milk because of its secret ingredient.
If you're hoping it's strawberries….sadly it's crushed BEETLES!
It all started when a vegan employee announced that the beetle extract as an ingredient, and Starbucks has come out and defended the choice because of their "all-natural" ingredients.
Beetles may be TOOOO natural for folks, as petitions have been signed and the coffee chain has agreed to seek other options.
We're glad to see Starbucks listening to the people…
Let's just hope that secret menu doesn't have any secrets like this one!

Dayle Bennett works for the U.S. Forest Service.
A big problem is an explosion in the population of beetles and their destructive effects on trees.
The beetles crawl onto trees, tear up the bark and go to town.
But this is bad for the trees, especially when the beetles are in such large numbers.
The beetles communicate by marking trees with pheromones (smells basically) that tell other beetles to chow down or stay away.
So Mr.Bennett figured out that by using the "stay away" smell the beetles would literally stay away, leaving the trees alone.
Score one for science!
