Sin City 2 Facing A Box Office Dud Of A Weekend! See Its Weak Numbers HERE!

sin city 2 facing a box office dud of a weekend

We guess all that star wattage did NOT matter!

Although - darn - this movie had a lot of actors who can usually carry a movie all by themselves!

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For stars Jessica Alba, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Josh Brolin, Eva Green, Rosario Dawson, and Bruce Willis to name a few, and was predicted by many box office experts to hit $15M this weekend.

Which, compared to the first Sin City which opened to a $29M weekend, seemed pretty weak.

But the newest flick from director Robert Rodriguez and the creator of the series Frank Miller is opening up FAR below those modest expectations!

Recent reports are speculating that the film will make about $10M this weekend despite opening up at a lot of locations - 2,894 sites to be exact - and that's definitely some stinky numbers if those figures hold.

Especially since its budget is believed to have been around $60M-$70M!

Meanwhile Chloë Grace Moretz's If I Stay is looking like it's going to be the top box office draw this weekend as it's heading towards a $17M opening weekend! Which already beats its estimated $11M budget.

Talk about a tale of two movies!

We guess lots of stars doesn't always matter! The proof is in the sinful pudding!

Oprah Had A Bad Week!

Filed under: Icky Icky PooTV NewsOprah Winfrey

Her worst is probably better than most at their best, but still!

It's good that Oprah's peacing out when she does - it appears as though she's losing her edge!

The Oprah Winfrey Show apparently hit its lowest ratings of all time during the week of June 28th - garnering a 2.9!

This may seem like no biggie, but this is the first time in the show's 24 years that her ratings have dipped under the 3.0 mark!

Holy shit!

A spokesperson says:

"Although the ratings for our summer reruns have declined since last year, 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' continues to hold its place as the No. 1 daytime talk show for the last 24 years."

Of course! There's no way that Oprah will EVER lose that spot while her show is still on the air, but we think that this is certainly a telling sign - there are big changes on the way for daytime television!
