The group found that owning a pet, specifically a dog, was "probably associated" with a reduced risk of heart disease.

Another win!!

In the ongoing battle to get equal rights for same-sex couples, one major step has been made.

The Department of Defense has announced they will be extending some benefits to same-sex couples in the military which was a final move made by Secretary Leon Panetta before he departs the Pentagon.

At what point do you drop your political whining and realize that you're acting like a bunch of awful human beings?

According to a Nebraska Wendy's franchise, sometime after slashing hours to avoid ObamaCare for your workers — if ever. This is rotten and just downright mean.

We can't for the life of us figure out why anyone wouldn't want health benefits for their workers. Even if we were just talking about ONE worker not making the cut, that would be horrible, right?? Instead, we're talking about roughly 100 workers in non-management positions at 11 Omaha-area Wendy's who will have their hours cut to 28 a week.

Not only are you taking away healthcare, but you're taking away precious hours and wage that might be helping these workers to live their lives. Everyone should be ashamed of this.
