So much for not letting them gain anymore equity.
LVMH announced on Tuesday they now own 20% of the Hermes International's shares.
However, the family-owned company's doing everything they can to keep Bernard Arnault's grubby little paws off even more shares.
After LVMH acquired 17% of the shares in October, Hermes set up a private holding company that will own more than half of the company shares.

Rumors are swirling that Carine Roitfeld was actually fired or as the French would say "mise pied" from her post at French Vogue.
Numerous sources say that Conde Nast was fed up with all the bad press the editor-in-chief was getting.
Earlier this year Carine was blacklisted from Balenciaga after she allegedly helped Max Mara knock off their designs before they were returned to the French fashion house.
But that wasn't the only label she pissed off.
LVMH's Bernard Arnault was none too pleased with the latest issue of Vogue Paris. Apparently their weren't enough LVMH credits and thought an editorial with young girls was in "poor taste". Arnault even threatened to pull all the luxury group's ads from the next issue.
Yikes.
Employees at French Vogue say they came to work on Friday with an email that said Roitfeld was "mise pied", which basically means Conde Nast fired her.
Inneresting.

It's the latest trend in the fashion world!
Following in the fancy footsteps of King Giorgio, LVMH is expanding their empire and getting into the hotel management to "oversee the group's activities in the luxury sector" and to "maximize the value of its brand".
Chief executive Bernard Arnault opened one of the first hotels Cheval Blanc, named after the vineyard the French luxury group controls, back in 2006 and now plans to open two more in Oman and Egypt.
The two hotels will feature 30 to 40 lush suites that will open in 2012, with more to follow.
Wonder if they'll place a monogrammed LV mint on the pillows???

Wowsa!
We're not surprised considering the impressive luxury brands within LVMH including Moët et Chandon champagne, Hennessy, Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior and Marc Jacobs just to name a few.
Enjoy the wealth, honey!
