On the eve of the March For Our Lives protest against gun violence, George Clooney is giving students one last bit of advice.

The Ocean's 11 star, who donated an amazing $500,000 to the march already, was asked by Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School students for an interview.

See, Emma Dowd, Lauren Newman, and Rebecca Schneid, who edit the school newspaper, The Eagle Eye, were given the opportunity to guest edit The Guardian to cover the protest.

They asked George to give them an interview (they got ones with Bernie Sanders and Marco Rubio), but he told them while he and Amal Clooney will be marching in support, he doesn't feel it's right for adults to take the stage anymore.

Susan Sarandon Thinks 'We Would Be At War' If 'Very Dangerous' Hillary Clinton Was President!

no title

Susan Sarandon has been accused of being partly responsible for electing Donald Trump as president — and apparently she doesn't regret it one bit!

Because while the actress isn't particularly impressed with our new POTUS' performance in Office, she still doesn't think Trump was necessarily the greater of the two evils in the 2016 presidential election.

The 71-year-old admitted she hasn't "exactly" said that Hillary Clinton was more dangerous in the long-run than Trump, but she does believe the former Democratic nominee would have the country at war had she won the election.

When asked by The Guardian if she really said that HRC was the more dangerous nominee, Sarandon clarified:

Former DNC Chairwoman Says Hillary Clinton Had Full Control Over The Party Nearly A YEAR Before She Became The Democratic Nominee!

no title

Hillary Clinton may not have done everything she could to win the presidential election (what's Wisconsin?), but she definitely gave it her all to ensure a victory in the primary race.

According to Donna Brazile, former interim chairwoman for the Democratic National Committee, Clinton had full control over the DNC almost a year before she officially became the party's official nominee.

Yes, to the pleasure of Donald Trump supporters and alt-right conspiracy theorists everywhere, Brazile says she found proof that Clinton had "rigged the nomination process."

In an op-ed for Politico, the former chairwoman recalled investigating the matter for Bernie Sanders during the 2016 election season, and was shocked when she found out that Clinton's campaign had been paying off the DNC's debts for the past several months.

Brazile found that her predecessor, Florida Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, had allowed Clinton's headquarters in Brooklyn take care of the party's massive debt — which she claimed was up to $24 million after Barack Obama's 2012 campaign — and the other officers were kept in the dark about it.

After more digging, Brazile learned that Hillary for America and the Hillary Victory Fund had taken care of 80 percent of the remaining debt in 2016 (about $10 million) and had placed the party on an allowance.

And like all things in politics, Clinton's camp allegedly expected something in return

Bernie Sanders Responds After Learning Virginia Shooter Volunteered On His Presidential Campaign

Bernie Sanders

This is such a terrible situation.

As we reported, a 66-year-old man named James T. Hodgkinson from Belleville, Illinois opened fire at congressional baseball practice outside of Washington, D.C. on Wednesday morning, injuring many and wounding House Majority Whip Steve Scalise in the hip.

Turns out, not only did Hodgkinson have a history with violence, but he had volunteered for Bernie Sanders during the 2016 presidential election.

After learning this news, the 75-year-old politician immediately made an address to condemn Hodgkinson's actions.

Bernie somberly said:

"I have just been informed that the alleged shooter at the Republican baseball practice is someone who apparently volunteered on my presidential campaign. I am sickened by this despicable act. Let me be as clear as I can be: Violence of any kind is unacceptable in our society and I condemn this action in the strongest possible terms. Real change can only come about through nonviolent action, and anything else runs against our most deeply held American values."

Dammit.

Donald Trump just officially pulled the U.S. out of the Paris Climate Accord. The agreement, negotiated by 195 United Nations countries, was ratified in order to slow the damage being done to the environment.

But of course a man who doesn't believe in climate change at all — and who always makes the worst decision in every case — would declare it a "bad deal."

Maybe that's what inspired Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson to tentatively throw his hat in the ring for 2020. Who knows?

Donald Trump Praises Australia's Universal Health Care System ~Moments~ After The House's Vote To Repeal Obamacare — But… But… Nevermind

Donald Trump

What an idiot.

Just after the House's vote to repeal ACA (AKA Obamacare) on Thursday, Donald Trump met with Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, where he praised Australia's universal healthcare system.

In case you're unaware, Australia's system, known as Medicare, gives citizens free access to doctors and public hospitals paid for by the government. Meanwhile, the GOP's plan allows insurance companies to charge more to people with pre-existing conditions (which includes things like sexual assault and C-sections), temporarily defunds Planned Parenthood, and cuts funding for Medicaid.

So, basically complete opposites.
