Atlanta Star Pulls A Kanye West On The Critics' Choice Awards Stage When Silicon Valley Wins Best Comedy Series!

Well, that was unexpected!

HBO's Silicon Valley won Best Comedy Series at the 22nd Annual Critics' Choice Awards, beating out Veep, Atlanta, The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Black-ish, Fleabag, and Modern Family.

While that wasn't too surprising, what happened next certainly was.

Actor LaKeith 'Keith' Stanfield took the stage to thank the Broadcast Critics Association for rewarding all the hard work he and the cast and crew did on Silicon Valley.

But the thing is, Keith Stanfield isn't on Silicon Valley. He's part of the supporting cast of FX's Atlanta.

See the awkward moment (above)!

Modern Family Wins Outstanding Comedy Series At The Emmys For The Third Year In A Row!

So many great nominees this year, but there can only be one…

Surprise, surprise, Modern Family took home the top honor AGAIN!

It's not like Sofia Vergara and the gang don't deserve it, but this is the THIRD Emmy win in the Outstanding Comedy Series category…in a row.

Oh and Michael J. Fox took the stage to present the award (above) and deliver a HIGHlarious zinger. Who doesn't love that guy???

The ABC series kinda cleaned up during the evening since Eric Stonestreet and Julie Bowen won the awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor and Actress in a Comedy.

Job well done everybody!

Two And A Half Men NOT In The Running For Best Comedy Series Emmy!

Filed under: Icky Icky PooTV NewsAwardzCharlie Sheen

two-and-a-half-men-not-in-the-running-for-best-comedy-series-emmy

Yeah, after the year they've had, we're not surprised!

Although Two and a Half Men is apparently eligible for the nomination of Best Comedy Series at this year's Emmy Awards, sources close to the production have revealed that given the circumstances surrounding Charlie Sheen and his firing from the sitcom, Warner Brothers TV smartly decided to NOT submit it for the accolade!

However, the studio will be creating ad campaigns for series co-stars Jon Cryer, Holland Taylor, Angus T. Jones and Conchata Ferrell in support of their individual nominations, which are normally submitted by their representatives!

As for Sheen, he missed the April 29th deadline!

Shocker! LOLz!

Here's hoping that all of his co-stars get properly recognized for their amazing performances and work ethic, given the circumstances surrounding that this year! They all went above and beyond, and we think that deserves some serious nominations!

Fingers crossed, guys!
