Seriously, who even NEEDS an Academy Award nomination?!

Not Ben Affleck! That's for sure!

Because despite his very noticeable snub in the Best Director category for the much-anticipated ceremony later this month for his work on the critically-praised film Argo, he's managed to snag himself accolades in the same category at the Golden Globe Awards, Directors Guild of America Awards…and now, the 2013 EE British Academy Film Awards!

Otherwise known as the BAFTAs, bitches!

But that is not all!

Just like at Golden Globes, the actor-turned-director ALSO snagged his film the much-coveted title as Best Picture!

AH-MAY-ZING! And seriously so, SO well-deserved, boy!

The folks over at the Academy Awards are probably feeling really silly right about now, as Ben Affleck has just scored another accolade for his outstanding work in Argo.

Not only did the Hollywood hunk snag the BAFTA Award for Best Director, but his movie won for Best Film in 2013!

Can you STAND it?! The film beat out Les Miserables, Lincoln, Life of Pi, and Zero Dark Thirty for the biggest prize of the night!

Will it be able to accomplish that same feat Oscar night? Our money is on YES! And when Ben goes to accept… well, THAT we can't wait to see!

Woohoo! We knew he had it in him!

After a week long debate over whether or not the Oscars snubbed Ben Affleck — they did, bee tee dubs — the actor/director/Adonis must feel sooooo relieved!

Not only did the Golden Globes nominate the impressive director for his work on Argo, but they declared him the victor, too!!

He bested the most accomplished auteurs in the biz, beating out Kathryn Bigelow, Ang Lee, Quentin Tarantino, and the legendary Steven Spielberg!

We are so impressed, Benny boy!

Go home and have congratulatory sex with your lovely wife Jennifer Garner, you deserve it!

Ben Affleck might have been snubbed with the Oscars nominations, but he owned the Best Director category at the Critics' Choice Awards Thursday night!

For his excellent work with Argo, Jennifer Garner's main man got the coveted award, soothing any snubbing wounds from earlier.

Hope you enjoy it, Ben! And don't even worry about the Oscars… you're young! You've got plenty of projects ahead of you.

Ben Affleck's reputation sure has evolved!

He was the laughing stock of Hollywood when Gigli broke records at the Razzles, but now, a decade later, the actor/director/producer/writer is being heralded as the dissed darling of the 85th Academy Awards!

The world was FLUMMOXED this morning when Seth MacFarlane read off the nominees for best director without recognizing Ben's work on Argo!

Bradley Cooper, in particular, who was nominated for his performance in Silver Linings Playbook, thinks the dude got robbed!

The Artist just landed a big award with it's director Michel Hazanavicius winning the award for Best Director.

Is Best Picture not that far behind??? We'll see!!

Understandable! If we were to give one complaint about the nominations, this would definitely be it!

Out of all the just-announced Academy Award nominations, it seems that the most backlash seems to be coming from Inception director Christopher Nolan's omission from the category of 'Best Director!'

While he was on the list of nominees - alongside Darren Aronofsky, David Fincher, David O. Russell, and Tom Hooper - for the 2011 Directors Guild of America, he is the ONLY one who didn't pick up an Academy Award nomination, instead being replaced by Joel and Ethan Coen!

And this is the THIRD time it's happened - he was previously nominated by the DGA for Memento and The Dark Knight, but snubbed when the Oscar nominations came around!

What gives?!

We think that given the consistently innovative and original material he produces, he deserves his name on that list! It's more than about time, guys!
