U.S. State Department Congratulates Iranian Oscar Winner — Then Is Forced To Delete The Tweet!

Everything that isn't "Hail Trump" is "over-rated" or "fake news" — and you want to tell us Donald Trump isn't trying to be a dictator??

The latest example of the POTUS with the mostest ego creating nothing but enemies came as a result of the Oscars.

While the Complainer-In-Chief has stayed surprisingly silent on Twitter about the jab-filled ceremony, it seems his self-centered, anti-First Amendment influence has extended over the rest of the government's social media.

The Persian-language Twitter account for the U.S. State Department tweeted a totally benign congratulations to the people of Iran and director Asghar Farhadi when The Salesman won Best Foreign Language Film, only the country's second time ever winning the award.

But then the account was forced to delete the good will:

Iran Wins Best Foreign Film At The 2017 Oscars — But The Director Didn't Show In Protest Of Trump's Travel Ban!

We had a feeling this year's ever-political Oscars would culminate during the Best Foreign Language Film category!

Donald Trump once again found his way into Sunday's show when Iran won the award for The Salesman — and the director didn't show up to collect the award.

Filmmaker Asghar Farhadi boycotted the ceremony due to Trump's travel ban, proving that you can keep a country out but you can't stop them from making great art!

Iranian-American space tourist Anousheh Ansari accepted the award on his behalf, speaking Farhadi's words through a powerful letter about the "inhumane law" that creates fear by "dividing the world into the ‘us' and ‘our enemies.'"

She continued with the letter, which called the ban "a deceitful justification for regression, and war." If POTUS didn't change the channel yet, we have a feeling he did after this!

Amour Makes Arnold Schwarzenegger And Austria Proud For Best Foreign Language Film

This might have been the most confusing exchange all night at the Golden Globes!

And there were a lot of drunk crazy and excited celebs!

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone presented the award for Best Foreign Film to Amour, directed by Michael Haneke and Ah-nold's fellow Austrian.

A bunch of words were said, but no one knows exactly what.

What we DO know is that Amour beat out A Royal Affair, The Intouchables, Kon-Tiki, and Rust and Bone, which was perfect considering the Austrians met face-to-face, making their homeland proud. Way to go, Amour!

Watch Sly and Ah-nold's ridiculously awkward and HIGHlarious opening (above)!
