Rielle Hunter's Mediocre Book Sales Stall Media Tour.. Whomp Whomp

Rielle Hunter book sales weak

Despite major media appearances on ABC and CNN, Rielle Hunter's memoir detaling her affair with John Edwards has only sold 6,000 copies.

While that number did allow the book crack the New York Times best-seller list, we hear other publishers aren't sorry for not releasing it themselves.

More so, many sources are speculating that the lackluster sales of the tell-all book have caused the controversial author to shelve the rest of her book tour. However, Hunter's rep is saying otherwise by commenting:

Bethenny Frankel Announces Her Next Book!

Smart lady! Strike while the iron is hot!

Bethenny Frankel recently announced that she's planning on writing another book, and while describing it, managed to find a way to stroke her own ego, of course!

She explains:

"It's called A Place Of Yes and it's about getting what you want out of your life. It's about my experiences and how I handled them, like how people told me my first book would fail and it was a NYT bestseller for five months."

Meow!

But warranted, we suppose!

However, we hope that kind of attitude doesn't become a trend, bb!

You don't want to put a sour taste in people's mouth about your book before it's even finished being written!

Thoughts??

The New York Times Is Giving E-Books Their Own Own Best-Seller List!

Wow! This is a pretty huge step!

Because of the growing popularity and sales of e-books, The New York Times announced yesterday that they will be publishing a best-seller list in both digitally published fiction and non-fiction!

Janet Elder, the editor of news surveys and election analysis for The New York Times, explains:

“We’ve had our eye on e-book sales since e-books began. It was clear that e-books were taking a greater and greater share of total sales, and we wanted to be able to tell our readers which titles were selling and how they fit together with print sales.”

Sam Tanenhuas, the editor of the Book Review, continues:

“To give the fullest and most accurate possible snapshot of what books are being read at a given moment you have to include as many different formats as possible, and e-books have really grown, there’s no question about it.”

Wow! It's amazing to us that so many people have opted for the iPad and Kindle in lieu of a good ole' hard copy!

We don't know…there's something about actual print on paper that we can't seem to tear ourselves away from!

What do U think?? Do U prefer e-books to regular books?
