Watch Oscar Winner Alicia Vikander Compete In Kids' Game Show At 8 Years Old — And Tell The Host She's Going To Be An Actress!

Filed under: TV NewsOscarsNostalgiaGame ShowsAlicia Vikander

Alicia Vikander took home the Best Supporting Actress Oscar on Sunday, but it isn't the first time the Danish Girl star beat out fierce competition!

Back in 1997, when she was just 8 years old, little Alicia competed on a Swedish children's game show called Stars In Their Eyes — which looks like a cross between Star Search and Lip Sync Battle!

And she won!

But the best moment is when the future Academy Award winner tells the host she wants to be an actress when she grows up! Watch (above)!

Of course, Alicia isn't the first star to have a brush with fame on a game show…

Kate Winslet Takes Home Best Supporting Actress At The 2016 BAFTA Awards!

Kate Winslet can add another BAFTA Award to her collection!

On Sunday, the blonde babe received the Best Supporting Actress honor at this year's ceremony, for her portrayal of original Apple executive Joanna Hoffman in Steve Jobs.

When the 40-year-old took the stage to claim the honor, she was overwhelmed but made sure to acknowledge her incredible competition in the category — Alicia Vikander (Ex Machina), Rooney Mara (Carol), Jennifer Jason Leigh (The Hateful Eight), and Julie Walters (Brooklyn). Of course Winslet also made sure to thank the filmmakers, her husband, her parents, and her children. Awww!

But this isn't the first time the gorgeous gal has taken home this trophy. The last time she won in a supporting role was 20 years ago, for her part in Sense and Sensibility!

In 2009, the UK Native also won for her leading role in The Reader.

The snubbage is REAL!

We were SO happy to see the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards nominations come in this morning — almost as happy as announcer Uzo Aduba, who received a nomination for best supporting actress for her role in Orange is the New Black!

We were pleasantly surprised with many well deserved nominations like Amy Schumer, Lisa Kudrow, and Tatiana Maslany!

Although, we couldn't help but feel bad for the many deserving actors and shows that didn't get Emmy love this year.

While everyone deserved their nominations, some actors were completely snubbed by Emmy voters for one reason or another — see if you agree!
